Credit to talksport's Mike Parry & Andy Townsend this morning. They gave fair play to callers on 9/11 issues, mostly concerning the World Trade Centre.

I phoned in and made the point that scientific questions remain. I mentioned the discovery of super-thermite in the dust and the fact that the fires were incapable of destroying approx. 100,000 tons of steel in each Tower.

I also described the 'collapse' of WTC 7. Mike referred to my WTC 7 comment as a conspiracy theory - as he did to questions in general. He raised the issue of the plane crashes; I pointed out that John Skilling designed the Towers with just such an event in mind. This issue was subsequently dismissed as 'these things happen'.

The discussion continued, intermittently, from after the 11AM news until the show ended at 1PM. The key sticking point seemed to be 'someone would have talked by now'. I fully understand this objection, but it is no answer to the scientific facts. I note that thermite was not mentioned again.

I conclude: there are mainstream media people who will give 9/11 Truth a fair go, despite their own scepticism.

Truthers: prepare some notes of key points and when 9/11 is mentioned, or even when it isn't, politely direct the discussion towards the work of http://stj911.org and www.ae911truth.org. Remember to mention (like I didn't!) the hundreds of building industry professionals demanding a new, thorough investigation.

Great stuff. You could probably email them, thanking them for their open mindedness and give them the ae911truth link etc. Mention that you are just repeating what 830+ named professionals are saying.
