I see this event is hosted by Larry Warren of all people. Confused

He attended the 1st Merseyside 9/11 event in 2007 and kept saying that it was just "conspiracy bullsh*t"

Apparently he has a track record of turning up to events and trying to sabotage them.

He is quoted as saying at a UFO conference that the 9/11 gig was full of "khaki wearing skinhead sex pistol fans" which is just an absolute lie.

I talked to him in a pub once and he just kept saying the 9/11 alternative theories are "bullsh*t" and yet we're supposed to just take his word about seeing an alien spacecraft with any less incredulity. Laughing

The Towers were 'hollow' apparently. This is like the 9/11 Report bulls*it that has been thoroughly and effectively debunkeds by David Ray Griffen, amongst others.

There were 47 massive steel columns comprising the cores of WTC's 1 & 2. This guy is talking absolute you know what.

PostPosted: Tue Aug 18, 2009 1:15 am    Post subject: Beyond Knowledge Seminars - A Clarification Reply with quote

There has been some confusion about Beyond Knowledge Seminars and the forthcoming Beyond Knowledge Conference. Let me clarify matters once and for all! A few months after last years conference a split ocurred amongst the organising team which led to Beyond Knowledge Seminars being created. We decided to keep the name Beyond Knowledge and add Seminars to it, as the idea for the name Beyond Knowledge was from one of the founding members of our new venture - Beyond Knowledge Seminars. We will soon be changing our name so as to disasociate ourselves from the Beyond Knowledge Conference set up once and for all.

I would like to pay tribute to HATS OFF PRODUCTIONS, a Liverpool based duo who can be found at the following links:-

http://www.youtube.com/user/mvpool

http://www.digi.webeden.co.uk/

As they filmed all of last years conference and for NO CHARGE! Plus they provided the material to blackout the roof windows, which believe me was a life saver! They also film our monthly meetings and they then put the presentations up online for all to watch FREE OF CHARGE. The reason I am writing about HATS OFF PRODUCTIONS is because on the Beyond Knowledge website they have been spoken of in less than glowing terms, and this is totally uncalled for and childish. Here is the
offensive comment:-

Fool Me Once

Are you tired of watching that fuzzy old Hats Off video footage of Ian Crane's spirited Beyond Knowledge 2008 talk on You Tube, or DVD? Well here is your chance to see Ian's presentation in crystal clear digital quality.

The same presentation is being sold at £9.99 + P&P
*WATCH IT FREE ONLINE*

In my mind this is an unecessary snide attack on two people whose aim is to get valueable information out to people online for no charge, whilst devoting a lot of time, money and effort to the cause of educating people. They are not out to make a quick buck!

And finally, remember the ticket prices from last years conference of £16 per day? Well its now £27.50 per day! I shan't be attending thats for sure! Whenother conferences such as Probe International who have been around for some 10yrs only charge a mere £16 per day!

I am sick and tired of seeing so called conspiracy speakers and events taking the public for a ride - beware of getting shafted folks!

Hi Stephen. I was at this meeting selling dvds and stuff at the back (cant remember if you were there) This guy was a very suspicious character coming out the blue with some speaking skills lacing his words with truth flatteries and garbage. Came across as a disingenuous insincere character perhaps with a hidden agenda.. IMO

ALSO comments about

HATS OFF PRODUCTIONS. Imo a genuine couple (just like many 911 truthers) using their talents for the furtherance of 911 truth and knowledge. They have done loads of work at grass roots level to spread and raise awareness 911 truth. Be in my team anyday, just like your goodself stephen even though we have different ideas.

I think this is a tough one - because it depends on what sort of event and speakers you want and what your speakers are prepared or able financially to put up with.

When Lloyd Pye came over for the Starchild tour, I wanted to have a good venue for his talk in Nottingham. We got a good venue - but it cost £172 - £100 of which I had to pay in advance. I didn't have to pay Lloyd's flight or accomodation costs - as he was happy to stay with us (but I did buy 1 or 2 meals for us I think. Flights and accomodation could've added about £1000 to the cost and we would've made a loss for his Nottingham talk.

Some speakers will waive a fee if they can sell books and what not - but then some others look on them as if they are just in it to make money. For myself, I don't ask for a speakers fee, but I do ask for a contribution towards travel and or accomodation costs. Currently, I work more or less full time on writing reports - nothing to do with all this stuff, so I can keep myself going on that. Also, my wife works, so I don't have to earn any income off speaking or what not.

It's worth thinking about this. Obviously, if you have a 1-off speaker for 1 evening in a straightforward/cheap venue, you can cover your costs by charging 3 or 4 quid admission (we charged £6 at Nottingham of £7 online booking because of PayPal fees).

Then you can lose hundreds of pounds if your event is undersubscribed, so it's a difficult balance to strike (I have lost 100's of pounds over the last few years in booking events).

this is the thanks you get from trying to spread the message from the speakers at these conferences to people who possibly can't afford to pay £10 for the dvd and in some cases even more.
At the end of the day it cost us money (as it always does)
Equipment was provided for the conference - namely all the sound gear, the lighting rig, the curtained projector screen and the blackout curtains for the huge skylights in the building. Not to mention 4 of us spending the entire evening til 2am setting up, then another entire evening again til 2am dismantling everything - missing out on all the aftershow fun and games at the local pub. And then to top it off they didn't even pay all of the measly expenses that had been agreed to prior to the event as the gear was moved from North Wales. In fact, we were told at the time the conference was a loss which conflicts with later heresay information that a considerable profit was actually made.

There's a whole big debate could be had here re conference/seminar/speaker fees/cost covering etc etc but at the end of the day asking questions, discussing other perspectives and trying to expose the truth behind obvious deceptions is not supposed to be something that one earns a living from. Certainly not in the truth movement! And especially not third party organisers.

Yes, sell your dvd's for £10 a go, but don't try to belittle the people who are just trying to spread the word without the primary thought being how to make money from it.

I personally find the 'fuzzy old hats off' remark utterly despicable.

After putting in the work to spread the word, for free, they basically have it all thrown back in their faces.

I was also duped into helping out with publicizing last years event.

Nothing will change if those proporting to be spreading the message act in this way.

Surely no one is doing this for the money. There are far easier ways to make it.

.....and if people charge to cover their costs......don't they have to?

This sounds like just another way of trying to discredit people who are making an effort to raise these issues in the public domain.

Profit??

It can only be peanuts.

I agree, If your in the conspiracy game for the money then forget it! Coz there isnt any money in it. I hear of people complaining about money and yet theres people who when given the money dont put it back into there group to make a bigger movement. People should expect not to make a profit or even loss small amounts of money.

Last years event was organised by one person apparently - he did 95% of the work! The guy used to run a certain bookshop in Quiggins, Liverpool. That is one hell of a LIE!!! I was involved with getting some of the speakers for the conference, as well as promoting the event. There where others who worked damned hard too making the conference the success it was, and the HATS OFF PRODUCTIONS who deserved better than that snide comment in the BK site; after all they provided the sound/lighting and other equipment too for FREE! Without them the conference wouldn't have happened! What goes on behind the scenes is vital to the smooth running of the event and also to have level heads in times of a crisis, and believe me folks there where problems, and they were dealt with brilliantly. All the "backroom" staff were promised a full dvd set of the weekend as a thank you.....its August 2009 and we are still waiting!!! And believe me a big profit was made!
On this years conference I've heard that Jim Marrs is not impressed by the venue! Last years tickets were £16.....this years is £27.....an increase of £11......Then there is Larry "HOLLOW BUILDINGS" Warren as the host....perlease.......the guys a ******!!! Lets not forget the Probe Conferences which are priced at £16....and have been for a few years, no £11 increase there! Oh and finally, when a certain someone found out that the Ian Crane talk was online for free he wanted his brother to try and interfere with it....why???

:-)Namaste:-)

Andrew, in my opinion you are a rare breed - a gentleman! You devote a lot of your time to the conspiracy circuit, as a speaker, researcher, promoter, webmaster etc - and your prices are always fair. I have been involved in organising rock concerts and cnspiracy events, so I know what is involved; hire of venue & speakers expenses & promoting etc etc. So when I say that this years BK conference is overpriced I have taken all the relevant facts into account, and I believe that the £11 increase in ticket prices is steep and smacks of profiteering, hence my statement of getting shafted!

Like you say Andrew, some speakers only ask for travel expenses, which is only natural. I know of a few speakers who are more than reasonable - your one of them! I also know of some who are going around with inflated egos! They'll fall flat on their faces soon enough!
Surely its about getting the information out and doing so at a reasonable price, especially when money is tight! Quite a few people have told me they will not be attending this years conference due to the ticket prices. So I'm not alone in my thinking.

And on that note I shall bid you good night:-)

Namaste:-) bulldozer:-)

Does anyone know why Jim Marrs pulled out?

The more you look at this conference the more laughable it looks.

I mean they've got Nick Professional-Skeptic Pope speaking!?!??

How many times have you heard or seen this guy 'debunking' everything that lies - errr...well...beyond knowledge?

This Larry Warren character is not a truther, nor are the people aplauding

Was this a truth presentation event?

If so it was highly compromised,at least at the end.

Nick Pope is alleged to be the top UFO researcher in the UK,if you see his website there is very little on there. He also promotes other myths as
proposed by the establishment/ mainstream media.
He is indeed clearly yet another transparent fake.

I see from the programme that Larry Warren & Nick Pope are the first two speakers at this forthcoming event. I applaud the idea of inviting skeptics to participate in these conferences; it is by listening and debating with other points of view that we subject our own views to scrutiny and validation.

I see also that Ian Crane will be speaking on the afternoon of the 2nd day of this event. I was witness to Ian's debate with Nick Pope over the events of 9/11, which took place at the bar in the George & Pilgrim following the 'Now That's Weird' conference in June of last year. Suffice to say that Ian had Nick on the ropes but he still absolutely refused to budge from his attachment to the official version of events.

The funniest part of the debate was when Nick's Goth girlfriend walked over. Nick put his arm around her and said, "Sorry I haven't spent any time with you this evening but I've been having a debate with Ian, who seems to think that 9/11 was an inside job!"

Without missing a beat, his girlfriend fired back, "Well, of course it was. Wasn't it?"

Nick's face was a picture! I subsequently heard that the said girlfriend was sitting on her own in a bus shelter at 6.30am the following morning, waiting for a bus out of Glastonbury. Could it have been something she said?

Having watched the recording of Nick Pope debating 9/11 with Annie Machon and Ian Henshall a couple of months later, it is evident that Nick Pope has become an ardent defender of the OCT and demonstrates classic cognitive dissonance in his inability to consider any other possibility.

That said, we must not forget that Nick signed the Official Secrets Act. As Ian Crane said at the Leeds Exo-politics event, "Nick Pope has by his own admission signed the Official Secrets Act, therefore he can't say anything ... whereas if he hadn't signed the official secrets act, he wouldn't KNOW anything!"

These events are always sociable affairs and with potential disagreements between participants, this one could be quite lively.

Come to think of it ... I've just talked myself into going along.

Yes it was.

Frank Freedom wrote:

Errr...no it wasn't. I should know because I was one of the organizers.

It may well be that our MI5'ers are/were compromised but the event itself was a pure, honest search for the truth. Whatever that may be.

If you are refering to Mr Warren getting up and speaking, it was I that said he should have his say because he was going mental in the corridor which leads to the room were the gathering took place. He couldn't get in because the room was rammed.

His american accent stood out in our Liverpool setting. He said he grew up in NYC and lost friends on 9/11 and didn't believe in the conspiracies.

At that point I thought he was just a random member of the public. I had no idea of his connections to the "ufo" incident in rendlesham forest.

In true "truth" spirit I thought it was only fair that someone who disagreed with inside-jobiness and who claimed to have lived in NYC had his say.

The above video starts at the point just after I interrupted Shayler so Warren could disagree.

It may well be that the so called truth campaign is/was compromised but that event wasn't part of that at that point.

It was an independent event/idea based on the ever-growing Truth Movement and the need to ask questions and demand answers by bringing 'evidence' to the public who may not have had access to it themselves.

Your suspicious claims of the event being compromised play into the hands of the debunkers as it makes you look like a conspiraloon.

In effect, making a bold statement as fact without actually having any evidence whatsoever.

I'm reminded of this thread when it comes to the Jan 07 event.

http://www.911forum.org.uk/board/viewtopic.php?p=51866&highlight=#5186 6

In this thread I engage with a poster called "respectfullymypointis" who was a highly suspicious poster who appeared to be trying to sabotage the movement here in Liverpool by suggesting that if the film of the night of Jan 07 was posted and he appeared on it he would take legal action and tell others to do the same.

He later edited his posts a total of 19 times to make it look like I was being aggressive.

In my opinion this poster was probably Warren. He is quoted as saying at a ufo conference that the 07 event was full of "khaki wearing sex pistol fans".

The only way he could possibly have made the "sex pistols" reference is from my old avatar on this site which used a play on the Nevermind the B*ll*cks album cover.

"respectfullymypointis" also changed his poster name to MI5 as well as editing his posts retrospectively some 19 times.

The thing is though, a friend printed out the original posts...Laughing

Frank - Please dont make bold conspiraloon statements without checking the facts first.

You should know that by now given the nature of this site.

In true "truth" spirit I thought it was only fair that someone who disagreed with inside-jobiness and who claimed to have lived in NYC had his say.

Thanks for the full explanation of events leading up to this clip.

Your suspicious claims of the event being compromised play into the hands of the debunkers as it makes you look like a conspiraloon.

In effect, making a bold statement as fact without actually having any evidence whatsoever.

Anyone challenging officialdom are automatically branded as conspiraloons,so thanks for that though I should have made it clearer I was alluding to this clip only,(and before your explanation).

Was this event filmed and available online at all?

It's not available in full on-line as the film-crew were basically threatened with legal action underhandedly by respectfullyetc who may or may not be Warren.

Thanks for your reply above.
