A WEEK TO REMEMBER by Alf Mendes
(emphases are this authors’)
This past week has been one of pivotal importance on the political global scene: (a) The UN’s Summit Meeting of Climate Change; (b) the final (?) G-20 Conference; but most perilously - (c) on September 22nd 09, Obama held a meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu & Mahmud Abbas to try and persuade the two adversaries to start holding a dialogue to solve the Israeli/Palestine problem. [NB: all three said events took place in America].
In view of the fact that we have suffered a global financial depression for the past year, then, on the face of it, it would seem somewhat unsurprising that we have been bombarded by the media’s coverage of (a) & (b) - but this poses the question: “why is said media not as informative about (c)?!” This article will therefore concentrate on it.
As reported by Radio France International (RFI) on Sept. 22nd, “A highly-anticipated meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas in New York Tuesday evening failed to produce any concrete results apart from a stiff handshake in front of the cameras.” Obama released a frustrated statement after the failed meeting. "Simply put, it is past time to talk about starting negotiations," he said, adding that final status talks on forming a Palestinian state “must begin, and begin soon."
Here it is of pertinence to note that Netanyahu had received his B.Sc. in Architecture, M.Sc. in Business Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and had also studied political science at MIT and at Harvard University - and subsequently worked in America for a number of years. It is therefore understandable that, while being interviewed by Bret Baier of Fox News on the day of said meeting, Netanyahu (in answer to Baier’s query: “Well, on that line, is it clear to you that Russia and/or China will never sign on to meaningful economic sanctions against Iran?”) - answered that he did not know; he only hoped that they would sign, adding “I think that it's possible to act in a multi-national way without necessarily the Security Council. I hope they mobilize the Security Council for this necessary action. But even if they don't, we've seen time and again that if the major powers in the world, not all of them, but most of them act in unison, that it's possible to apply very strong pressure, first and foremost, economic pressure on a country like Iran.”...in plain English, you ignore the UN and do the job yourself - which is precisely what America has done a number of times, such as in the aftermath of 9/11, when Dubya Bush deigned to appear before the UN stating that he would be happy to go to war with the endorsement of the UN Security Council - but does not consider any UN’s endorsement for the bombing of Afghanistan necessary. Enough said! Netanyahu is obviously a close friend/patsy of the US.
As further evidence that this is so, it is essential to keep in mind: (a) that the State of Israel was set up in 1948 by the World Zionist Organisation (established in Basel in 1897) - a group of secular, atheistic Ashkenazim Jews. Strange, given that ‘Judaism’ & ‘Atheism are antonymous terms!; (b) Israel - with not-a-little-help from France, the US and the Apartheid government of South Africa - created atomic bombs in Dimona in the Negev desert since 1977, and that US X-band radar was deployed in the southern NEGEV desert in 2008; and (c) This all hit the headlines in 1986 when the Sephardim Moroccan Jew, Mordechai Vanunu, who had worked at the Dimona reactor, revealed that Israel was now in possession of more than 200 bombs - as reported in the London Sunday Times. This resulted in Mossad kidnapping him in 1988, and sentencing him to 18 years in prison. (Intriguingly, Andrew & Lesley Cockburn, in their book “Dangerous Liaison”, reveal that Robert Gates - who was at that time serving in the CIA - had been well-aware of Israel’s activities)
Now, on September 22nd ’09, the well-known, reliable United Press International (UPI) reported in their Newsletter that “US Navy warships have begun arriving in Israel for joint missile defense exercises next month” - and the Jerusalem Post reports “that officials believe some systems may remain in the Jewish state to strengthen its defense shield against feared Iranian missile attacks” by using said U.S. Navy Aegis warships armed with SM3 Standard missile interceptors, which “would be deployed in the Mediterranean and Red seas north and south of Israel.”
The UPI added that “Meantime, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak, a former general who is the country's most decorated soldier, was scheduled to fly to Washington for discussions with the now U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates on this Iranian missile threat. The talks will include the role Israel will play in the revised U.S. missile defense plans announced by the administration of President Barack Obama earlier this month. This involves scrapping plans to deploy anti-ballistic interceptors and radars in Poland and the Czech Republic, and switching to naval-based defenses in the Mediterranean and the North Seas instead [see above]”. In the words of that very influential Washington-based Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS): “By employing US Interceptors in the Middle-East to counter the existing Iranian threat, the Obama administration is hoping that it will bolster it’s influence with Israel” - and with the likes of Henry Kissinger, Zbigniew Brzezinski, & William Cohen on its Board of Trustees - let it speak for itself!
The foregoing is confirmation that America calls the tune - and again, it does not augur well for either Obama or those many earthlings who face death! _________________ www.lawyerscommitteefor9-11inquiry.org

Quote: | Israel joins US for defence drill
Israeli air force helicopter simulates a rescue
The US, Turkey and Israel took part in a similar lower-scale exercise last year
Israel and the US are due to begin a two-week military defence exercise, thought to be the largest of its kind in Israel's history. |
Childish saber rattling or the beginnings of something more sinister?
It seems like the psychopaths are intent on ratcheting up pressure in the region but are they brazen enough to make the first move or can we expect more false flags like last weeks "terrorist bombing".
I particularly like this for its comic quality
Quote: | The Israeli army said the exercise was not a "response to any world events" but had been planned for a while. |
It probably has been long planned to fall just one week after the blatant false flag op they just pulled off,the question is will Iran do something rash or be falsely accused as such?
Either way I feel its becoming very clear the predictions some have made of war before Christmas are looking more accurate by the day _________________ Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut, that held its ground.
