Dec. 10 — To the Editor:
In his Dec. 1 speech announcing the escalation of the Afghanistan war, President Obama made numerous references to the crimes of 9/11. However, that escalation and all the death and destruction of further war in Afghanistan could be totally averted if certain unanswered questions about 9/11 were addressed in a serious way.
The United States has resorted to extreme measures, supposedly to catch terrorists. Arab and Afghan prisoners have been tortured into false confessions, and privacy rights for ordinary Americans have been suspended; but those with obvious connections to the crimes of 9/11 have apparently not even been questioned.
Wouldn't it be interesting, for example, if employees of Marvin Bush's security company, those who did intensive work in the World Trade Center in the two weeks prior to 9/11, were asked if they brought anything into those buildings that could have been pre-positioned explosives for controlled demolitions on 9/11?
For more unanswered questions on 9/11 go to www.911Truth.org. Until these questions are answered, the Obama escalation will have no more credibility than the Bush so-called "War on Terror."
