Six years after Lord Hutton published his Inquiry report, the death of Dr David Kelly simply won’t go quietly into obscurity. The Hutton Report on Kelly’s death was widely derided upon its publication – it was construed a whitewash, and the conclusion that the Government weapons inspector took his own life is not supported by the facts.
With its backdrop of the UK’s entry into an illegal war in Iraq, an initiative which we now know had been planned back in the autumn of 2002, there are many reasons why all is not as it seems. Norman comments: “I was determined to get to the bottom of it. Along the way I have unearthed much interesting material, some directly related to my present investigations, some not. Dr Kelly was a good man, who served this country, and indeed the world, well. We owe it to him to get to the bottom of what happened on that fateful day in July 2003. The results are there for all to see, which I will outline in my lecture.”

US Green Party Presidential Candidate to speak in Bristol
It’s not easy being Green …
Following the Parliamentary expenses scandal which has forever tarnished all of the three main English political parties, and the signing of the Lisbon Treaty which has effectively made Westminster an irrelevance, you would think that the way was now clear for a major breakthrough in support for The Green Party in the UK.
The Green Party represents what has become an international movement in politics, and to demonstrate this former six-term US Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney is coming to Bristol over the weekend of 13-15 November 2009. A member of the American Green Party since 2007, in 2008 she was their nomination for President of the USA. This followed the Party having courted her to consider being part of their ticket in both the 2000 and 2004 elections. She will be speaking at the Alternative View conference (www.avlll.co.uk) at the Grand Thistle Hotel.
Cynthia has stated that the Green Party could become a progressive political force. During the 2008 Presidential election, she was one of a quartet of nominees who stated some basic principles of their campaigns, all of which could be transferred to a UK manifesto for the Green Party:
1. An early end to the Iraq war and an end to threats of war against other countries, including Iran and Russia.
2. The safeguarding of privacy and civil liberties, including a call for the repeal of the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, and FISA legislation (similar UK legislation needs a thorough re-appraisal and overhaul as we run headlong into an Orwellian nightmare).
3. No increase in the National Debt.
4. A thorough investigation, evaluation and audit of the Federal Reserve System (here, this would be a similar exercise on the Bank of England. For instance, why aren’t we able to find out who their shareholders are?).
The Alternative View conference will also feature Ian R Crane, who will challenge aspects of the current ‘Green Agenda’, presenting evidence which suggests that the movement has been infiltrated and perverted by the very forces that the Green Party puts at the top of their ‘hit list’. This should make for a very lively weekend!
Cynthia McKinney is no stranger to controversy - she served on the House Armed Services Committee and famously grilled Donald Rumsfeld over the missing $2.3 Trillion and the (lack of) US military response on 9/11.
Last December Cynthia experienced being rammed by the Israeli Navy and in July she was held captive in an Israeli jail whilst transporting medical supplies into Gaza.

Festival Organiser Rejects 'Conspiracy' Tag
Friday, November 13th 2009 00:00
The organiser of an festival in Bristol rejects the claim that his event is promoting "conspiracy theories."
Ian R Crane is behind the 'Alternative View 3', being held at the Thistle Hotel on Broad St this weekend.
It features a dozen speakers claiming, amongst other things, that the credit crunch was deliberately planned, world governments want to microchip everyone on earth and the true aim of green campaigners is to reduce world population to 1/12th of its present level.
Yet Mr Crane rejects the 'conspiracy theory' tag. He told Original 106.5: "'Conspiracy theory' is a label that says more about the person labelling it as a conspiracy event than it does about the people attending.
"By labelling it as a conspiracy event, what people are saying is that they haven't had the opportunity - or taken the time - to research the detail of the people who are speaking at the event, and are quite happy to live in blissful ignorance.
"For people [in power] to pursue the agenda they are pursuing, they rely on apathy, abdication of wilful ignorance. I can assure you that among people attending this event, there is no apathy, no abdication and no wilful ignorance."
Mr Crane, who formerly worked in the oil industry, will present a talk entitled "The Green Agenda and Population Reduction".
In it, he will suggest the real aim of environmental campaigners such as Al Gore is to reduce world population to 500 million - 1/12th of its current level.
He said: "The myth of man-made global warming is being promoted by politicians and the media without regard for scientific facts.
"It is stated in documents and on stone tablets in Georgia that they have a goal to achieve sustainability, by which they mean population reduction."
Mr Crane also claims the credit crunch was "very clearly pre-planned" and foreseen by several commentators including himself. He believes people working in the finance industry must also have known it was coming.
