I have been thinking about the amazing amount of publicity these guys have achieved over the last few years with a budget about as small as ours!
They have only had one bad bit of press; when the plan to kidnap Tony blair's son was exposed. (although I'm convinced this was planned by rogue elements)
The rest of their 'stunts' have been pretty damn successful.
I have started this thread to solicit ideas about how we could do a similar job.
All we need as a few banners, some good ideas, and members up for a challenge (and a laugh probably)
Any ideas that do not hurt anyone, are broadly legal and do not discredit our serious movement should be considered. |

How much do you think they have helped themselves? When they started I was well disposed to their cause, but that good will has really run out. The more stunts they perform the less they seem like men to take seriously and to trust with children. The same fate might await us if we follow similar tactics. It needs to be considered. |

Absolutely agree. No one can deny their stunts have proven v effective in raising their profile
But we should also be aware of how they nearly folded in the wake of the fly on the wall expose about the alleged plan to kidnap Liam Blair.

We face similar issues in that certainly in London we hold informal open meetings, which anyone (including agent provocateurs or 'loose cannons') can turn up to. Just like F4J it would be simple to go to meeting with a hidden camera and either plant someone or just record conversations of people promoting violent acts. Not that I have ever come across this, but if you were so inclined to use such tactics it would be possible to set up.
So non violent fun stunts definately the order of the day. I really liked Mark Thomas' spoof weapons inspections of the royal palaces (Buckingham Palace), etc in the build up to the Iraq war |

Mark Thomas is a great example to follow. I wonder what he thinks of 9/11? |
