Factory worker had vile child sex abuse images

A SHOCKING ‘snuff movie' was found at the Skelmersdale home of a young factory worker along with other appalling child abuse images, a court has heard.
And a judge told Andreas Bauminis: “It is hard to imagine or contemplate a more grotesque, revolting, repulsive and inhuman series of images.”
The disgusting videos were discovered at the home of Bauminis following information from the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation about use of internet file sharing sites.
Police went to his home, which he shared with his brother's family, including two children, in February last year and seized his computer tower.
When arrested Bauminis said: “I'm sorry, I have downloaded two or three videos involving 12 to 15-year-old girls from a sharing programme.”
Kimberley Obrusik, prosecuting, told the court that that officers found an hour-long video showing a girl no older than 11 being sexually abused by a number of men.
A 20-minute ‘snuff' video showed a 15-year-old girl being raped, strangled with a wire and apparently murdered before being wrapped in a plastic sheet and dragged out the room.
“The question remains whether it is is genuine or not”, said Miss Obrusik, but she said that the victim was seen foaming at the mouth, her eyes rolling back in her head during her ordeal and at the end she did not appear to be breathing or blinking.
The other images recovered from his computer involved 11 Japanese cartoon videos spanning three hours involving children being abused by adults, other children, animals and aliens.
Liverpool Crown Court heard that Bauminis, a 22-year-old Latvian, spent the majority of time alone in his room when not working and admitted watching adult porn and then looking at child porn.
Jailing him for eight months, Judge Denis Watson QC said it was difficult to say whether the girl in the ‘snuff' movie had died “but all the evidence points to the fact that she almost certainly did.”
Referring to the cartoons, Judge Watson said they showed “a warped interest in images of abuse of children.”
He ordered Bauminis, who showed no reaction, to sign the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years and imposed a Sexual Offences Prevention Order restricting his internet use.
Bauminis, of Willow Hey, Skelmersdale, had pleaded guilty to making indecent photographs of a child, possessing extreme porn and possessing prohibited cartoon images of children.
Claire Jones, defending, said that a probation report revealed that Bauminis, who has no previous convictions, is “a remote, introverted individual who shows remorse.”
She added that he would welcome outside intervention to help him avoid involvement with such behaviour in future. _________________ www.lawyerscommitteefor9-11inquiry.org
