There are some surprising coincidences with respect to Malcolm Pearson of UKIP and Pearson Plc.

Malcolm Pearson was one of the founders of PWS Insurance. On the PWS Insurance website it states that those who founded PWS Insurance (Malcolm Pearson, John Webb and David Springbett) all previously worked for CT Bowring. It also states that Malcolm Pearson's father, John Pearson, was friends with Harvey Bowring.

Members of the Pearson family (of Pearson Plc) have also worked with CT Bowring, particularly Weetman Dickinson Pearson, but also Clive Bernard Pearson.

It seems that the Pearson family of Pearson Plc, are connected to S. Pearson and Bros, silk manufacturers of Macclesfield, enthusiastic about promoting Methodism (George Pearson, in 1747, brought John Wesley to Macclesfield to preach.)

(Another interesting co-incidence is that Hannah More, who resided at Adelphi Terrace, now Adelphi House, was friends with John Wesley).

Malcolm Pearson's daughter, Silvia le Marchant, is trustee of the Westminster Theological Centre, (now relocated to Cheltenham, which co-incidentally is where PWS Insurance home office is) as well as trustee and treasurer of Civitas. The director of Westminster Theological Centre, Dr. Crispin Fletcher Louis, gives talks at St Paul's Theological Centre, where one of the trustees is Paul Marshall from Marshall Wace hedge-fund located at........Adelphi House.

'Global Britain' was founded by Malcolm Pearson, as well as Lord Harris and Lord Stoddart, The latter two are methodists. Thatcher made each of these three a life peer.

(Interesting to note that on the 'Global Britain' website it states:

Britain's destiny ceased to be European centuries ago when English settlers began their transatlantic odyssey. Within the next fifty years the USA and China between them will account for half of the world economy; quite possibly, India will account for another quarter. UKIP was founded at the London School of Economics, (itself birthed in Adelphi House), and Pearson Plc. is located next door to Adelphi House, in Shell Mex House.

Interesting too that Shell Oil took control of Mexican Eagle Petroleum in 1919, set up by........Weetman Dickinson Pearson, of Pearsons Plc. (Shell and Pearsons Plc are in the same building, next to Adelphi House).

Those who lead our political parties should be transparent about their affiliations and backgrounds.

Interesting that Margaret Thatcher gave Pearson and his colleagues at Global Britain their peerages (the daughter of a Methodist Minister).

Also interesting that Christopher Monckton, senior advisor to Margaret Thatcher, is now also with UKIP.
