Interesting one this. The contemporary investigation finally sees the light of day.

Blair Peach's partner Celia Stubbs revealed the names of the policemen whose names had been blanked out by the CPS. But the media won't report them, even though they are in the public domain, presumably because of the crooked lawyers the BBC use.

But the man the CPS call policeman 'E', the chap who actually smashed Blair Peaches skull in, looks to be this man according to Celia.

Inspector Allan Murray.

He knew this report was coming out and got his denials in first.

He's an academic doctor now...
Don't masonic murderers get an interesting career path?
Watch Murray's squirmingly awful denial of guilt here...
BBC wrote:
today Dr Alan Murray is a respected academic who lectures in corporate responsibility at Sheffield University, writes tomes on accountancy and accountability, and has a CV which records he is treasurer of the British Academy of Management and the British Accountancy Association.
It is not what was envisaged for the man who was social secretary of the SPG.
"I'm still here and I've made a new career for myself," he says. "Blair Peach was killed. And that's something I think about, often."

Main points in the report
Quote:
14 witnesses said they saw Mr Peach being hit by a police officer, and 'there is no evidence' to show he received his head injury in any other way
Although it could be 'reasonably concluded' Mr Peach was killed by a policeman, there was insufficient evidence to charge any officer.
A raid on a suspect policeman's locker at SPG offices uncovered a rhino whip and a cosh.
One of the SPG police was found to be a Nazi supporter.
Suspicions centred on the first SPG carrier to arrive on Beechcroft Avenue, the street where Mr Peach was found injured. Commander Cass said there was an 'indication' one officer in particular was responsible.
