WASHINGTON — The Defense Department says it has paid $47,000 to destroy 9,500 copies of a former Army intelligence officer's war memoir that the Pentagon contends threatened national security.

Surely buying the entire first run will just send the book to number 1 best seller?
Or maybe thats exactly what they want. Mix a bit of truthful controversy along with the usual spoon fed poison that it was all Al-qaeda. in an attempt to keep joe public away from controlled demo explosive residues etc.
Schaffer seems to be squealing quite openly about all the secrets. Hope he has good life insurance if he is a genuine guy.

Yup, the book just points at Al-qaeda even more. |
