Penny from the Cumbria 911 group has asked me to paste her report here:-

Report on Peace Festival Ulverston Sunday May 21st.

In spite of not booking in for display space at this festival, Maureen and I drove over to the Lantern House in Ulverston on the Saturday and I managed to present some samples of the publicity which I planned to put on display. This was the first time the MA student from Bristol University, who was helping to organise the whole event, had ever seen such hard hitting evidence of 9/11 lies. Along with the other hard hitting health issues, which personally I think go hand in hand with the government's agenda of dumbing us all down, to enable their plans to march on without undue protest, I was offered wall space and a small shelf to put out leaflets and our infamous £20 deception notes.

That was better than nothing and so after lunch at the Manjushri Buddhist run Peace Cafe, which is vegetarian and organic (just the ticket in my opinion,) I contemplated the task of putting together a full display from all the accumulated stack of publicity which was stored in a large box in the spare bedroom!!

Although I had sent two packages with DVD's in to the chief organiser, three weeks beforehand when I first found out about the festival - they had not been viewed and nothing definite had been sorted out in spite of my e-mail requests and two phone calls! It shows just how persistent we have to be at times when we want the message to go out...!

As I am a lark and really am better in the morning, from 5.30 a.m. until 11 a.m. on the Sunday, I scrabbled about blue-tacking a huge amount of 'stuff' onto long rolls of brown backing paper. They were then decorated with colourful marker pen comments and info. and the display was ready just in time.

When I arrived at the Lantern House building, to my surprise - I had been given a brilliant space just inside the front door and was able to plaster my display sheets all over a large window and two walls. That would attract some attention - and it did. It was the only display in the whole festival which pushed the boundaries and challenged people's mind sets, as all the other stalls seemed to accept that war was happening/it had always happened in human history and we all wanted peace. That was fine, but no-one there seemed to guess the real reason behind the mind control and manipulation by the 'global elite' and their 'puppet governments.'

Doors opened at 1 p.m. and people had been queuing as the reputation of all the Lantern House events is very high in this area of Cumbria. The centre is dedicated to furthering creative music and arts and the festival programme contained - poetry, choirs, drama, complementary therapies (free) health food shop and many stalls from 'Friends of the Earth' to 'Ulverston Peace Group' to 'Memories of Greenham Common display.' (They have a web site if anyone is interested - www.lanternhouse.org )

There were indeed plenty of visitors to my display and one man who had been in America when Robert Kennedy was assassinated and who suspected much foul play, was really interested in all the info. I had put out.

One chap wanted to buy my 9/11 t-shirt to wear there and then and he and his wife went away with handfuls of leaflets and of course the coveted £20 deception notes. In fact I had to be very vigilant as there were quite a few wide eyed children around who were queuing up for notes and I saw one little urchin grab a handul and make off across the room, until I caught him up and allowed him just one. His face fell.

I had to tell the kids about the web sites on each note and that they were for their parents as they were political. They didn't care about any web sites - there seemed to be a competition going on to see who could weedle the most from me and they brandished them aloft as they gleefully disappeared into the crowd. Personally I thought that it was a good way to push the message out.

Everyone had big smiles on their faces when they saw them and I am looking forward to David's new print run as 'Scholars for Truth' site will be featured and hopefully the print will be a tad larger??

The festival went on until 9 p.m. and eventually I arrived home at nearly 10 o'clock - very tired, but pleased that I had made the effort to go along and 'sock it to 'em.' I made some good contacts and two chaps from Barrow Peace Group are coming along to the Grange Edwardian Festival when the display will be put up again on June 10th.

The next step will be for me to contact the Lantern House art director to organise a showing of Loose Change 2. (More news later on.....)

Have fun and if you are able to venture forth to the Glastonbury Festival next month to see David Boyle plus Ian, David and Annie - you will definitely not be disappointed.
