The point about this is that if body parts of July 7 victims were sent to a Bosnian laboratory then, this would have incurred a significant period of time that would impact on the supposed DNA identification of the alleged perps.

Good point. I still think it is worthwhile approaching a supposedly independent Forensic Centre of Excellence to get their view... |

The ICMP in Bosnia which has two state of the art DNA labs have replied to my enquiry and stated that they were not involved in any of the July 7 forensics work.
This makes the statement in Julie Nicholson's book all the more perplexing.
Perhaps, there was a plan to use the Bosnia labs at one point or perhaps the DCI that Mrs Nicholson refers to was himself misled.
Perhaps it was a statement designed to deflect further questions about the identification process, especially the "several weeks" delay.
Either way, quite why Mrs Nicholson needed to be told this when her daughter was identified by other means remains a complete mystery.
Bridget at J7 has sent a FOI request into the MPS.
The issue of recovery and identification has been ruled "beyond the scope" of the July 7 Inquest - so perhaps we'll never know.
I wonder why this ruling has been made ?
