Disturbing yet fascinating stuff!

I can't see anything on the DNS records about the 911truth.org situation - the domain does not expire until 14th January 2011. I suspect there may be an issue not unrelated to the Loose Change cease and desist order, i.e. a copyright infringement.

As for the Naudet Brothers' letter, it would be unfortunate if this situation was not exploited to the full. It is quite likely that intimidation might force the retraction of all copyrighted material by Dylan et al. but a protracted legal battle would be very favourable, no!

I'm no legal expert but I think that there may be a case for the defence, 9/11 exposure notwithstanding, that the footage was used in context and the footage itself was a subject of the documentary.

It is interesting to note that Dylan is accused of profiting from his film - despite (I guess) the overwhelming number of copies 'out there' being either DVD rips or downloaded. Whilst the letter states that (of the Naudet Brothers' film) 'The final footage was some of the most priceless historic film footage ever captured'.

Good news - www.911truth.org is back online in its entirety

I do however get the feeling they have decided no longer to pursue their policy of not commenting on the Conpiracy Theories, what with the growing number of web sites; Charlie Sheen, LC2 being consistently in the top 10 google videos downloaded and British MPs and peers all receiving copies of LC2 and colour fact sheet.

in recent weeks we have seen

- dubious footage of Pentagon (although this turned out to be an own goal - well done Jeremy Paxaman!)
- articles in Guardian, etc., labelling conspiracy theorists as nutters
- Michael Meacher leant on to cancel LC2 screening in Parliament
- Loose Change 2 shut down
