Tell Clinton and Rice "It's Time."
The Palestinians are seeking membership in the United Nations as a way to enhance their ability to press for freedom and justice. But the United States is opposed to this move and has threatened to cast its 42nd UN veto in 40 years opposing Palestinian human rights.


Please add your name below and make sure this time the United States is not what keeps the Palestinians from determining their own future. The U.S. Campaign to End the Occupation will deliver your signature in person to the U.S. State Department.


The vote is just one step, and only a beginning. It won’t end the occupation or suddenly mean a viable Palestinian state, but it will recognize the right to Palestinian self-determination, give our movement additional tools in moving toward a truly just resolution, and give fresh hope to all the people of Palestine and Israel who deserve to live in freedom and democracy.

It’s time for the United States to join nations all over the world in clearing the way for Palestinian freedom.

Forty-one times in the past, one way or another, the U.S. has been the lone voice standing in the way at the United Nations. This time, we implore you, don’t.

This time, we join a chorus of millions of people worldwide in telling you that it’s time for Palestinians, like Israelis, to determine their own future. The United States cannot continue to stand in their way.

This time, vote yes. Vote for recognition. It’s time.
