He could be mindful of the Lib-dem conference of 2005 where we (B & I 9/11 Truth campaigners headed by the intrepid Justin were a visible and vocal presence and challenged them to become the 'party of truth'; in particular Nick Clegg was on the platform at a fringe meeting to discuss how to win over the voters and secure a Lib-Dem victory in 2008 and I stood up and challenged them to take on 9/11 truth and run with that. Sarah Teather who was also on the platform said that that wasn't realistic because politics being politics no one would believe a 'truth' message!! But Nick Clegg did not dismiss it and I observed him looking thoughtful - was a seed sown?? |

I keep telling my wife that I will be voting Lib Dem at the next election and she keeps telling me it will be a wasted vote, but I think that if enough of us vote for them, they wouldnt get in power but it will magnify the size of the party and maybe, just maybe the following election could be theirs.
I wonder if he would join a demonstration outside parliament?

Well instead of voting for the Lib Dems I have become a member of the party, and after speaking with my local mp this evening it appears there are only 50 members in my area. I was asked if I would consider running for my ward (Redditch) and even though it sounds almost silly, I am goin gto do it.
The situation in other 9/11 truthers areas may be the same, where you may get the opportunity to really get into the thick of things.
Regarding the 9/11 Truth movement, if more people who know the truth became members then possibly that could set the ball rolling?
But I dont know for sure, we dont want to get ridiculed but if we start at the bottom and slowly push towards the top we may get the platform we need.
Any comments?

At exactly the same time Nick Clegg was at Cambridge University, records show someone by the name of N.Clegg joined the Cambridge University Conservative Association between 1986 and 1987.
Clegg then worked for EU Trade Commissioner and senior Conservative Party member, Leon Brittan in his private office, as his speech writer and adviser.
After the 2010 general election, Nick Clegg went into a coalition with the Conservative Party when he could have accepted a looser Confidence & Supply arrangement between the two parties.
Since then he and his party have accepted every policy suggestion of the Conservative Party and helped make them law. |

Quote: | It has been alleged that Clegg joined the Cambridge University Conservative Association between 1986 and 1987. However Clegg has maintained he has "no recollection of that whatsoever" of joining the association.[29][30][31][32][33] |
However...
Quote: | Between 1992–1993, he was employed by GJW, which lobbied on behalf of Libya.[37][38]
In 1993, Clegg won the Financial Times' David Thomas Prize, in remembrance of an FT journalist killed on assignment in Kuwait in 1991. Clegg was the award's first recipient. He was later sent to Hungary, where he wrote articles about the mass privatisation of industries in the former communist bloc.[26]
In April 1994, he took up a post at the European Commission, working in the TACIS aid programme to the former Soviet Union. For two years he was responsible for developing direct aid programmes in Central Asia and the Caucasus, worth €50 million. He was involved in negotiations with Russia on airline overflight rights, and launched a conference in Tashkent in 1993 that founded TRACECA—an international transport programme for the development of a Transport Corridor for Europe, the Caucasus and Asia. Vice President and Trade Commissioner Leon Brittan then offered Clegg a job in his private office, as a European Union policy adviser and speech writer. As part of this role, Clegg was in charge of the EC negotiating team on Chinese and Russian accession talks to the World Trade Organisation.[26] |
So he was a speech writer for a Conservative - even if he was an EU Commissioner at that stage... |
