The coalition government’s cuts to wellfare, and continuing support for warfare demonstrate a commitment to supporting multi national corporations at the expense of their own electorate. These corporations are also responsible for the world wide devastation of eco systems – and are therefore threatening the survival of the planet. We are losing our democratic insitutions as well as our right to live in peace. Please ask someone from the stop ecocide campaign to speak at one of your events and ask Melanie Klein to comment. Her book “The Shock doctrine” shows how the eradication of democracy and of Keynsian econcomics brought total chaos to Latin American countries as the US implemented the economics of Milton Friedman. All of this needs to be exposed – we are up against something massive here and our political leaders are not fit for purpose.
