PRINCE Charles today launches the 2011 Sun Military Awards as we seek to honour once again the guts and gallantry of our amazing Armed Forces.

The Prince, proud dad to officer sons William and Harry, urges you, the public, to send in nominations for your heroes.
He conceived the awards categories which include Overcoming Adversity, Outstanding Soldier, True Grit and Best Unit.
And with Our Boys and Girls engaged in conflicts in Afghanistan and Libya, our judging panel of ex-service chiefs and celebs faces another tough year choosing the winners. Scores of stars attended last year's Millies, including David Beckham and singer Katherine Jenkins. Prince Charles and Harry were there in 2009.
The gongs - held in association with BAE Systems - are open to all serving troops, except the Support to the Armed Forces award.
I wonder if they have a category for loss of most military hardware? _________________ 'Come and see the violence inherent in the system.
