How could it possibly be missed?
If feminism has one lasting legacy it's the predomininant presence of evil women in politics, Condoleeza, Hilary,Ruth Kelly,Patricia Hewitt, Hazel Bleeaauugghhh!
Thatcher wasn't even a blueprint for such serpentine awfulness. She's been far superceded
We're used to the men being vile, somehow the glinty-eyed witchiness of this 4-in -the-morning spinning serial mass-murder and genocide complicit freak would induce anyone to visit the lovely town of Blackburn
Um - yeah - I'll be there

From BBC website:
Quote: | Protests stop Rice's mosque visit
Condoleezza Rice will also visit Liverpool during her trip
A visit by US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to a mosque in Jack Straw's constituency has been cancelled under the threat of protests.
Muslims opposed to her trip to the Blackburn mosque had planned to protest in the building ahead of her arrival, spokesman Ibrahim Master said.
Safety concerns meant the visit to the Masjide Al Hidayah mosque on Millham Street had to be cancelled, he added.
Ms Rice's official visit to Blackburn and Liverpool begins on Friday.
What these people had threatened to do was invade the mosque during dawn prayers
Ibrahim Master
She is visiting Blackburn to repay a visit Foreign Secretary Jack Straw made to her home town in Alabama in 2005.
In addition to meeting dignitaries in Mr Straw's constituency, she will also attend a gala concert at the Liverpool Philharmonic.
Mr Master, a member of the mosque's governing committee said: "The visit wasn't cancelled because we don't like Condoleezza Rice.
"What these people had threatened to do was invade the mosque during dawn prayers."
He said the decision followed a meeting between the mosque's governing committee and members of the Stop the War Coalition.
'Historic decision'
A Foreign Office spokeswoman said: "It's a pity that we will not be visiting a mosque in Blackburn.
"Everything we are doing on this visit is being done with respect to the communities involved, taking their views into consideration.
"We are looking forward to meeting Muslim and civic leaders during the visit."
The Stop the War Coalition said the invitation had been withdrawn after pressure from the Muslim community.
Blackburn With Darwen spokesman Alex Martindale said an "historic decision" had been made.
"Blackburn With Darwen Stop the War salutes the committee of the mosque and extends our thanks to the community and scholars involved for their united efforts in arriving at this decision," he said.
Stop the War is planning demonstrations in Blackburn on Saturday morning and in Liverpool before a concert on Friday.
Ms Rice has been invited to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic orchestra concert to celebrate the city's status as European Capital of Culture 2008.
The trip has already caused controversy with Poet Roger McGough pulling out of plans to compere the event. |

Blackburn / Liverpool - security tightens up for war criminals visit
Sky News reports "Roads in and around both cities will be closed for security reasons during the visit."
Reuters reports Assistant Chief Constable Patricia Gallan, of Merseyside Police, said officers would deal "swiftly" with protesters who break the law.
She said:
"We fully recognise the democratic right of every individual to demonstrate peacefully.
"We need to ensure that public safety is maintained at all times, and therefore trained officers will be on hand to deal swiftly with anyone who breaks the law and puts public safety at risk.
"Local people should be reassured that we are aiming to keep disruption to a minimum and to ensure that everyone involved is able to enjoy this high profile visit in a peaceful and safe way."
Looks like Section 59 of the Terrism Act is going to be in for some heavy use in the next 48 hours.
HOT OFF THE PRESS
Lancashire Evening Post cover the visit of the war criminals to the BAE Warton Factory (no sly slipping in by the back entrance here) ...
Nigel Whitehead, Air Systems Group Managing Director, said: "We are delighted that during the short time they had available, the Secretaries of State visited BAE Systems.
"The fact that the Foreign Secretary feels that BAE Systems, and in particular Salmesbury, is an excellent example of a highly skilled technologically advanced industry, is something we should be proud of." (Subtext - we are really good at making things that kill people)
Cannot expect the MD of an outfit making an airplane 18 years in the making, that no-one wants to buy. to utter anything sensible to Dr Rice ...like "* Off !!!! go and monger your wars elsewhere."
Which reminds me of the spectactular crash landing costing £50Mn at RAF Coningsby Lincs on Jan 19th 2006 when a RAF Typhoon, computer controlled front wheel landing gear didn't operate. More from a previous posting here and here is the lovely picture of £50Mn taxpayers money going up in smoke ... did they lay on a demo for the dolly war crim ? We want the computer codes for the JSF - you bet we do. 18 yrs and we still get these c*** ups.

Condi and her beau slip in the back entrance
BBC Radio are reporting that Condileezza Rice and her beau for the weekend handsome, slim, debonair, man about town, Jack Straw used the back entrance this morning. Visiting Plackgate School they avoided the massive demonstration of banner waving children, parents and Anti War protesters by slipping in quietly.
At the school visited by Rice and Straw, about 200 protesters stood across the street with banners and signs, chanting "Condi Rice Go Home!" One demonstrator held a yellow hand-lettered sign that read "How Many Lives Per Gallon?" reports the Lexington Herald Leader. and details the Opponents of the Iraq war Web site, www.condiwatch.co.uk
, that listed times and locations for marches and gatherings. Protesters planned to distribute T-shirts that read, "Fab Four, Not War," in reference to Liverpool's most famous export, The Beatles.
The Jerusalem Post report Rice was greeted by protesters carrying anti-war banners, along with cries of 'war criminal' and 'human rights abuser' as she joined British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw on a tour of northern England on Friday.
Meanwhile the Daily Mail reports she is off to BAE Systems at Warton, Nr Blackburn Lancs, where the Eurofighter Typhoon jet is built (never far from war our gal) - and will allegedly discuss the joint JSF Stike Fighter alternate engine to be built by Rolls Royce for which US$2.7Bn. funding was withdrawn from next year's military budget.
Under the heading (syndicated in many other papers)" Rice Gets the Cold Shoulder in Britain" the British Columbia , Canada Hinewburg Journal reports the AP story ...which says ...
"LIVERPOOL, England - Demonstrators organized marches to call Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice a war criminal and human rights abuser as she joined British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw on a tour of his adopted northern England working-class home."
STOP PRESS NEWS
NELSON solicitor and Euro MP Sajjad Karim today told US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice not to visit the area this weekend unless she apologised for the war in Iraq and for the prisoners being held in Guantanamo Bay, dismissed the visit as a "shameless publicity stunt."
Mr Karim said: "I think it is wholly inappropriate for Jack Straw to be organising a series of events for Ms Rice designed to do nothing more than provide the world's press with a photo opportunity.
"While Mr Straw and Ms Rice are being entertained to a series of gala events and lavish dining, I doubt the British forces serving in Basra, the innocent Iraqis caught up in the turmoil in their own country or the detainees at Guantanamo Bay will be celebrating her visit in such style."
Mr Karim, who grew up in Brierfield, admitted high profile state visits were normally good at boosting the tourism and local economy of the region.
However, he blamed Ms Rice for the instability in Iraq and for Guantanamo Bay's Camp X-ray, in Cuba, where hundreds of people suspected of terrorism are held without charge.
"Condoleezza Rice is directly responsible for what has happened at Guantanamo Bay, where people are being held against international law, and the extraordinary rendition of innocent people by the CIA.
"Unless Ms Rice is planning on using this trip to apologise for the war in Iraq or to announce the release of the detainees in Guantanamo Bay, she may as well stay at home so far as I am concerned."
7:00pm Thursday 30th March 2006 Lancs Evening Post
Well said Mr Karim - no use him expecting ennoblement then.

My brief business/news type bulletin report as a witness and 911 Truth campaign supporter of the Blackburn day of dissent/protest.
A longer. personal, confessions of 911 sceptic/activist type account will follow later. I hope that you find one or both of them informative and that it will enable you 911 truth bloggers/skeptics to continue in your evolution and join us to become 911 activists:-
Quote: | Bulletin report; Blackburn, Lancashire, UK 1/4/06; 9am-2pm :-
Six dedicated UK 911 Truth campaign(Britain & Ireland) activists came together on a rainy April Fools day in Blackburn with the mission of supplying 911 truth campaign information as well as supporting the Stop the War message that Dr Condoleesa Rice, the US Secretary of State was not welcome in Blackburn.
The protest was facilitated and lead by the Stop the war Coalition in close liaison with local Police.
A peaceful, good humoured banner waving demonstration consisting of approximately 500 made it clear to Ms Rice, Jack Straw, the Muslim Mayor of Blackburn and the press and TV cameras recording the event that Ms Rice was not welcome in Blackburn.
The march from Bangor Street Communinty Centre to the Town Hall was led by a group in orange suits and white hoods carrying a coffin.
Eighty percent of the demonstrators were Muslims who in front of the Town Hall, assisted by those on percussion instruments made chants of “shame on you” and in reference to Iraq “liberation not occupation” as the contingent of VIPs (Ms Rice, Mr Straw, Mayor of Blackburn and local dignitaries entered and left the Town Hall)
These chants were supplemented by random announcements of “911 inside job” from a megaphone of a supporter of the 911 Truth campaign.
Whilst Ms Rice and Mr Straw were inside the Town Hall being entertained at the local taxpayers expense, despite some heavy showers, the protesters chanting continued and an announcement was made as a request to Dr Rice for her to make arrangements to release the visual evidence of the Boeing 757 which according to the official 911 commission report made a 16 foot diameter hole in the Pentagon on 11/9/01.
Public speakers from Stop the War, Respect, local Muslims, a parent of the school Ms Rice had visited the previous day (making the point that no consultation or approval from parents had been sought by the school) continued to unite the protesters. whilst they waited for the departure of Ms Rice. One speaker reminded the audenience that Mahatma Gandhi had visited Blackburn and that he would be turning in his grave at the sight of Ms Rice in Blackburn.
Truth leaflets and dvds were distributed by the 911 Truth campaign (GB & Ireland) supporters throughout the demonstration and gratefully received by the majority. |
The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing
- Mahatma Gandhi

Did it, will it ever get broadcast?
I'm sure Justin is a brilliant and humorous advocate, but will we ever hear what he has to say?
Will we see the muddy wellies?

Yep dh I think the expressions and body language of the TV interviewer say it all. You dont need such high perceptionary skills to read her thoughts.
Politicians and the media.........we will continue to hit that brick wall until we can educate and make the public masses aware of the fact that the official version of 911 is an absolute travesty of the truth.
As for seeing those muddy wellies on TV, I dont think those Westmorland sheep have anything to worry about there!
Great 911 truth campaigning in Blackburn though. Well done dh and the other 911 activists there! Its was a great shame that we missed the opportunity of not having the banners there, especially when Paul from London made the trip, although I did not see him!

The problem was that Paul only decided to go at the very last moment. The first I heard of it was a phonecall from his mobile when he was already on the coach travelling north. Given a bit more time we could have got banners to him.
BTW the banners need stouter polls and a light poll across the top to stop them from sagging in the middle. They are housed at Nick Kollerstrom's in Primrose Hill, North London. When anyone needs them contact him nk@astro3.demon.co.uk and contact me and Annie too for reasons of co-ordination.

Further photographs for the 911 activism archives. Are we really enemies of the state?
Photographing them videoing us..........and "Evidence gathering" Police
Officers. Spot the terrorists?
One thing I learnt is that Police Officers are camera shy and uncomfortable when you produce cameras or camcorders and take shots of them. If it makes you uncomfortable or you find it intimidating when they focus their cameras on you just produce your camera/camcorder and give them the same treatment. They do not like it.
I wanted to get a shot of them with their labelled vests "Evidence gathers" and when I focused my SLR on their faces they duly obliged and three of them duly turned their backs on me (see the first shot) Marvellous.
Cameras, camcorders are an effective peace keeping bit of arms kit. So always be prepared comrades, a picture says more than a blog!

And what about these two buggers on the roof of the shopping centre.
This was my first day out with a new camera and I was pretty impressed that I could read their numbers from about 150 feet away! I know this isn't a photographic forum but if anybody is considering buying a new compact digital camera, most only have about a 3x optical zoom and brag of 50x digital zoom (which sounds good, is rubbish and pretty pointless. The Nikon S4 has a 10x optical zoom and took these which when opened (they are bigger when clicked) are a quarter of their full size - 2816 x 2112 - 6.1Mp and taken against the light. I bought it because I was sick of lugging my digital SLR everywhere and it is extremely convenient.
As Steve says, cameras are a powerful weapon so it pays to be well tooled up!
So apologies for advertising - you could say it is unsolicited technical advice!
