The 22/7 terror and its clear influence on the General Election 9/9 2013
The biggest political event in the 4-year parliamentary period (apart from the bombing of Africa) was the blowing up of the Government buildings and the Utøya Island massacre. But have these influenced the 2013 election results?
In broad terms, we can say that the «red» parties that made out the parliamentary majority for the bombing of Africa, and that were attacked in the bombing of Government buildings in Grubbegata, together with the Progress Party (Frp) from which the terrorist bomber came, lost as many as 26 seats in parliament (ouf of 169 seats total).
25 of these seats went to H and V. (Right and Left, respectively, both on the Conservative side).
1 seat went to the newcomer MDG — The Green Party.
The Progress Party lost most seats of all — as many as 12 seats — but the astonishing thing is that this HUGE decline in the polls started as early as 7 months *BEFORE* the 22nd July 2011.
It’s almost as if it was in the air, and voters started punishing them over half a year in advance.
