As you probably know, I am running for governor of California on the Peace and Freedom Party ticket in 2014. My plan is to keep offering revolutionary, informative, and inspiring shows from Cindy Sheehan's Soapbox.

I have also been informed that I cannot collect a salary from the campaign for the next eight months until the primary--and if I do come in the Top Two in June (it's possible, I came in 2nd against Pelosi in 2008), I won't be able to make any money until November. This system favors the wealthy.

Electoral politics should be open to everyone regardless of financial standing, social status, political party, or any other measure. Desire to serve humanity should be the only requirement, but, sadly, in our system it's money that is the sovereign. I am running to overthrow that reality!
