Hello to all! I’m new at this forum and would like to know your opinion on this.

There is now a great controversy in Portugal, around six university students that died, drowned in a Portuguese beach back in December:

http://news.yahoo.com/hazing-turned-tragic-death-6-students-perplexes- portugal-191626143.html

Apparently, a group of seven students gathered in the middle of the night at a beach. Only one survived that night – and he was the senior student in charge of overseeing the university hazings. There are initiation rituals for the freshmen in most Portuguese universities, where they are called “praxes”. Sometimes they are just amusing, but can other times be harsh and humiliating for the freshmen.

The fact that he was the only survivor leads many (including myself) to believe that what happened that night was an initiation ritual that gone wrong.

The survivor, who claimed to had ‘selective memory loss’ after the tragedy, remained in silence for almost two months and is now telling the police that a big wave came out of nowhere and caught him and his friends when they were all seated on dry sand. He denies any ritual took place that night. I know those beaches and I find his story strange: a person would have to be close to the water, on in the water, to get caught by the waves.

But there is more to the story.

Recent news suggest they could have been performing a more mysterious, occult ritual based on one text written by the famous Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa (who was a mason), made to worship the mephisto demon. The university they attended is indeed owned by masons, and one of its administrators is a self-confessed mason in one of the most powerful Portuguese masonic lodges.

What is known for sure is that they were all dressed in their academic clothes and were caught by high waves in the middle of the night. No alcohol or drugs were found in their bodies. Is anyone aware of any masonic ritual connected to the sea? I’m trying to understand if that ritual is connected to masonry or if it’s just a macabre hazing.

Certainly very strange. You have to dig deeper.Who are all these students? Were they drowned? Why were they there? What did they know? Who were they connected with?

All seven students belonged to the same academic association in the same university. All in their early twenties. The six who died were responsible for the freshmen receptions of their respective degrees. The one who survived is the leader of that academic association.

As I said they all gathered in the middle of the night at one beach. It is believed they performed a ritual. One television channel speculated they could have been inspired by the poet Fernando Pessoa and were worshiping the mephisto demon, however I have to clarify that this information is not confirmed.

But other students revealed the group was performing a series of tests. According to them, the last test/ritual was at or very near the sea. All six were side to side, turning their backs to the sea and facing their leader, which would ask them questions. For each wrong answer, the penalty would be one step back (towards the sea). This image is a reconstitution of that test/ritual:

My question is, is anyone aware of any test/ritual like this, involving a series of questions?
