The Justice Alliance petition spearheaded by Joanna Lumley has had an excellent response and reached 10,000 in less than a week, including Ken Loach, David Lammy, Josie Long, and Michael Sheen. It would be great to accelerate the numbers up to 100,000 signatures, which could lead to it becoming a story about the widespread support for legal aid and access to justice. We are asking this week if you can find ten people to sign and ask each to find ten more so we could create a chain.
If you use twitter and Facebook it would be greatly appreciated if you could tweet the petition using the hashtag #fight4legalaid

There will be a targeted tweet every Friday from 8 – 10.30 a.m. on a Friday from now until end of February using the hashtag and linking to the petition. Please take part and tweet about the legal aid cuts and the petition during this time so we can get it trending #fight4legalaid
