Former mayor of Weston-super-Mare Philip Judd to be sentenced next month over child abuse images

A FORMER town mayor who admitted downloading more than 350 indecent pictures and videos of children is due to be sentenced on September 15.
Philip Judd, 60, pleaded guilty to 12 charges of making indecent photographs of a child and possessing prohibited images when he appeared at Bristol Crown Court.
The court was told heard he was found with 151 films and 200 indecent images of children during a search of his home in Trenleigh Drive, Worle, Weston-super-Mare.
Judd was mayor of Weston-super-Mare between 2010 and 2011 and is also a former vice-chairman of North Somerset Council.
