Tell the FCC: Restore Net Neutrality

An appeals court just dealt the latest blow to the open Internet. The court struck down the Federal Communications Commission’s Open Internet Order because of the questionable legal framework the agency used when it adopted its Net Neutrality rules in 2010.

This ruling means there is no one who can protect us from ISPs that block or discriminate against websites, applications or services.

But there’s hope: FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler can correct the agency’s past mistakes and truly protect our nation’s communications infrastructure. The agency must take the necessary steps to make broadband networks open, accessible, reliable and affordable for everyone.

Tell the FCC to start treating broadband like a communications service, and to restore its Net Neutrality rules.

Update - August 12, 2014 - 6am - PST

Good morning

Having overcome the problems yesterday which had taken the Information Clearing House website off line, this morning brought notices from many readers around the world, that they were unable to access ICH, and that when they attempted to do so they received a timeout and "connection to the server was reset" error messages.

It would appear that someone or group, may have found a way to interfere with the DNS servers which direct traffic on the web. This has also resulted in our been unable to update the website with current news and info.

I have to admit to being stumped by this latest attempt to prevent our service, but thankfully greater minds are now investigating and I am confident that they will find a solution.

This is just another opportunity to show those who are trying to prevent the free flow of information are at best no more than a nuisance. We continue to compile relevant article and will upload them just as soon as possible.

I am grateful for your patience and support.
