in brief: hijacking, explosives by columns to bring down building, dressed as arabs so they get the blame, to make the world take notice, to destroy sensitive documentation, and gave prior knowledge of the attack to some.
Just doing a bit of research on the Zionist Jewish bombing of the king David Hotel back in 1946 and heard one of the terrorists say I planted the bomb next to the column. The planting of the bombs was well planned and all done by driving to the basement in a hijacked truck and carrying by hand explosives hidden in seven milk churns to a strategic point in the building . OH and disguised as Arabs!! each churn had 50kgs of explosives in. Intended to make the world sit up and take notice. And they told some staff that it was to be bombed
an interesting comment by someone as to a motive has shades of Building 7
