New (to me) video footage of 9/11, published in 2011. A friend told me it was on TV after midnight a few days ago (I believe Channel 4); it's made for the History Channel.
I haven't watched it all, but as my friend says, there seems to be no mention of 'planes' in the first 18 minutes or thereabouts. Also, who the heck was so interested in getting all these people's reactions, rather than trying to get footage with First Responders and escapees?

I think there are things to be learnt from this footage, and it's interesting it was only broadcast ten years after the event. I don't know if it has been shown on UK TV before this year.

Hi Outsider.
Yes, it's been shown before.
I remember doing a live blog during its showing... I can't find the writings now, of course, but there was TWO things that remain in my mind.
First was GWB's cool reaction, surrounded by kids, and calling for two minutes silence for the supposedly dead aircraft passengers while he should have been worrying about saving the 3000+ people in the twin towers and the defence of Washington etc.
Secondly the video clearly shows molten metal streaming from the side of the South Tower... |
