Reading the link you give, Leiff, I wonder yet again if I have somhow got "stuck" inside some mad "game world" devised by some spotty, adolesent youths... a sort of "war word" and if I can ever escape from it!

Considering the way people can discuss the atomic bomb so cooly and clinicly (as example given below) with out quite "taking in" what the whole horror implies, makes me wonder really if most people would be "that bothered" even if we could succeed in getting across to them that "9/11 was an inside job"! Something (like conscience, love, caring, you name it) - seems to be missing from so many people's "make up" - perhaps they are all just "Sims" - I seriously wonder!
