He died of 'pneumonia' on 7th August 2019, at age 74. OK, that's a fair age, but given that it was just 2 months before the Covid - 19 'spread' (or 'was spread') in Wuhan, and given as he was outspoken, and as the discoverer of the PCR test had said unequivocally it should not be used for diagnosis, it was a very convenient death for the powers that be, because he would certainly have forcefully reiterated that the PCR test should not be used for diagnosis.
