Investigative journalism (once called journalism), seen as a benchmark for serious reporting, is at risk of being further suppressed under a guise of a so called Journalism Trust Initiative, (To you and me 'The Ministry of Truth'. Or possibly more accurately 'The Ministry of Hiding the Truth').

Good investigative journalism, and reporting, is based on a working theory methodology, backed up by gathering facts/evidence, identifying motives and opportunity, not unlike anybody conducting a police investigation.

Any attempt to label the legitimate reporting of awkward truths, as conspiracy or fake news, has being treated with suspicion for long enough. Further attempts to not just de-bunk or censor content, by literally framing the news with a pre-set narrative under a form of compliance, is surely the final nail in the coffin. Just what new student journalists will make of this development, and how it is implemented into their training, needs checking. Worth contacting your local college, as to their course material.

Mind you with the 'capture' of the next generation, through movements like Common Purpose, XR, and the EU Youth Forum (whose aim it is for the voting age to be brought down to 16yrs), it might not be questioned. But I find it hard to think that there aren't many involved who are starting to see through the veil.

Nothing wrong with having standards, but telling people what to think especially when they are young, also shapes how they think. Manipulating how the viewing public perceive what they think are the opinion of many others, is a very powerful tool in the wrong hands. Those suppressing information, such as the decisions being made behind our backs, are not those we want to be controlling our country, let alone our media. And it's been happening for decades.

We live in a world where VIP child abusers, and traffickers, are walking free, documents hidden under lock and key, and D notices being handed out like smarties. Yet we have a journalist amongst many others, exposing corruption and human rights abuses, suffering psychological torture in a high security prison.

Is there a conspiracy to pervert the course of justice by those paid to serve and protect us, and who pulls their strings?

Who observes the observers?
