The five Russian scientists were among 44 killed earlier this week; no official investigation of foul play has been opened, though Iranian nuclear experts have in the past been involved in similar accidents.

This possible taking out of people is made all the more easier these days with flight booking and check in procedures for airlines. As soon as you purchase a ticket online using a card the PTBs can know exactly your intended movements. Even if pay by cash your details will be in a e-format on airline databases that the PTB have legal or illegal access to.

My lad was retina scanned coming back into this country at cardiff airport after a couple of weeks in the states.

All this surveillance is necessary for Orwellian finance/arms fascists to succeed.
We have to be more scared of Bin Laden than we were of the Russians supposedly.

More signs they could be getting ready to pull the rug from under Israel?

Mossad Suspected In Murder Of Iranian Nuclear Scientists
Vincent Trivett | Aug. 5, 2011, 10:29 AM

Quote:
Intelligence experts suspect that the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad is responsible for the assassination of several Iranian scientists in an effort to disrupt the Islamic Republic's nuclear weapons program.
German magazine Der Spiegel reported that "an Israeli intelligence source" admits that Mossad is responsible for the murder of Darioush Rezaei, a nuclear scientist. Rezaei, 35, was shot on a Tehran Street right in front of his daughter's kindergarten on July 23rd. He was apparently spotted at a nuclear research facility north of Tehran. According to the IAEA, Rezaei was developing high-voltage switches, which are needed to make nuclear warheads.
Since 2010, three Iranian nuclear physicists have been murdered in suspicious circumstances and one more survived. The unnamed source says Rezaei's murder "was the first serious action taken by the new Mossad chief Tamir Pardo."
Israel does not deny that they were involved in the killings. Grinning suggestively, Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak vaguely told reporters, "Israel is not responding."
Assassination is only one tool being used by the Israelis to disrupt Iran's nuclear program. Last year, Israel created a computer virus that wreaked havoc on the program's computers. Israel regularly makes phony companies for the purpose of providing nuke components that are designed to malfunction. Israel has proven itself unafraid to engage in air strikes against research facilities if necessary.
Iran has the delivery mechanisms available already. If they were able to produce a warhead, they can make good on President Ahmadinejad's repeated threats to destroy the country. Israeli military officials are growing more hawkish by the day, and support for a preemptive strike against the Islamic Republic is increasing.

Mossad assassinate 4th Iran nuke scientist in Tehran
Israeli Source: Assassination of Iranian Scientist Joint Operation by Mossad, MKO
http://english.farsnews.com/newstext.php?nn=9010170807
TEHRAN (FNA)- Israeli sources confirmed that the terrorist attack which killed a senior Iranian scientist in Tehran on Wednesday was a joint operation carried out by the agents of the Israeli spy agency, Mossad, and the anti-Iran terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO).
"My own confidential Israeli source confirms today's murder was the work of the Mossad and MKO, as have been a number of previous operations I've reported here," Richard Silverstein, a senior Jewish American journalist, said in his weblog named Tikun Olam.
"The method recalls another series of assassinations that occurred of Fereidoun Abbassi Davani (who was seriously wounded) and his colleague Majid Shahriari (who was killed)," Silverstein said in his weblog.
He downplayed the effects of such assassinations in Iran's scientific progress, and said, "I've said it before and I'll say it every time something like this happens: assassinations like the one today accomplish nothing. It doesn't fundamentally harm Iran's nuclear program. It doesn't deter Iran or its scientists from pursuing the research and whatever scientific goals they may have. These are shameful acts by a shameful Israeli government exploiting Iranian terrorists for their own ends. I find it disgusting that Israel can get away with such acts with impunity."
"I am not a supporter of Iran's nuclear program. But I am even less a supporter of assassination as state policy, and that includes my own nation, whose president seems especially enamored of targeted killings, even of US citizens."
His remarks came after an Iranian university professor and deputy director of Natanz enrichment facility was killed in a terrorist bomb blast in Northern Tehran on Wednesday morning.
The magnetic bomb which was planted by an unknown motorcyclist under the car of Ahmadi Roshan Behdast, a professor at Tehran's technical university, also wounded two other Iranian nationals in Seyed Khandan neighborhood in Northern Tehran.
Behdast's driver Reza Qashqavi, who was severely injured in the blast, also died of his wounds in Resalat Hospital a few hours later.
Behdast, 32, had majored in chemistry at the Oil Industry University. He was a deputy director of commerce at Natanz uranium enrichment facility in Iran's Central province of Isfahan.
Today's blast took place on the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Iranian university professor and nuclear scientist, Massoud Ali Mohammadi, who was also assassinated in a terrorist bomb attack in Tehran on January 11, 2010.
Also, the bombing method used against Ahmadi Roshan Behdast this morning was similar to the 2010 terrorist bomb attacks against the then university professor, Fereidoun Abbassi Davani - who is now the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization - and his colleague Majid Shahriari.

All totaled, the magnetic bomb that exploded in Iran on Wednesday was the seventh attempt on the lives of Iran’s nuclear-program employees and the sixth death.

I though it was the 3rd related death but it's the 6th. Out of 7 tries.

Rightfully assuming Iran hasn't murdered 6 of its own citizens who have been called Iranian "national treasures" by a professor of Iranian Studies at Columbia University, then only Israeli Mossad, American CIA, NSA et al., Saudi Intelligence or British MI5 or 6 could be responsible for this. A consistent and constant effort that works to kill 6 people means they were probably all involved together because I don't think one agency works without the others knowledge and approval, at the very least. And this is the very definition of terrorism. Terrorism. In Iran. Perpetrated by the west.

Iran accuses US and Britain of role in killing of nuclear scientist

Tehran sends diplomatic letter to US saying it has evidence of CIA involvement in killing of Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan

Saturday 14 January 2012 17.49 GMT

Iran has accused the US and Britain of being behind the assassination of an Iranian nuclear scientist this week in Tehran.

Iran's foreign ministry has sent a diplomatic letter to the US saying that it has "evidence and reliable information" that the CIA provided "guidance, support and planning" to assassins "directly involved" in Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan's killing, the IRNA state news agency reported on Saturday.

Ahmadi-Roshan, a 32-year-old chemist, was killed in Wednesday morning traffic by motorcycle-borne assassins. It was the fifth time in two years that a scientist from the state nuclear programme had been targeted. Each time, the hit squad used a motorcycle.

His death has prompted calls in Iran for retaliation against those deemed responsible.

The US has denied any role in the assassination.

Iran delivered the letter to the Swiss embassy in Tehran, which looks after US interests in the country. The US has had no diplomatic relations with Iran since its 1979 revolution.

IRNA also reported that Iran delivered a letter to Britain accusing the UK of having an "obvious role" in the killing. It said that a series of assassinations began after British intelligence chief Sir John Sawers hinted in 2010 at intelligence operations against Iran.

Sawers has previously said intelligence-led operations were needed to make it more difficult for countries like Iran to develop nuclear weapons.

General Masoud Jazayeri, the spokesman for Iran's joint armed forces staff, said Tehran was "reviewing the punishment" of "behind-the-scene elements" involved in the assassination, IRNA reported.

"Iran's response will be a tormenting one for supporters of state terrorism," he said, without elaborating. "The enemies of the Iranian nation, especially the United States, Britain and the Zionist regime, or Israel, have to be held responsible for their activities."

Jazayeri also accused the International Atomic Energy Agency of being partly responsible, saying that the UN nuclear watchdog made public a list of Iranian nuclear scientists and officials that "has provided the possibility of their identification and targeting by spy networks".

The British Foreign Office has condemned the killing of civilians. Israeli officials have hinted at covert campaigns against Iran without directly admitting involvement.

The killing has sparked outrage in Iran, and state TV broadcast footage on Saturday of hundreds of students marching in Tehran to condemn Roshan's death and calling for the continuation of the country's controversial nuclear programme.

The US and its allies fear Iran is trying to develop nuclear weapons. Iran denies this, maintaining the programme is for peaceful purposes only.

The Republican presidential contender Rick Santorum said on Saturday that the US was wrong to condemn the killing.

The national security council spokesman Tommy Vietor said this week: "The United States had absolutely nothing to do with this. We strongly condemn all acts of violence, including acts of violence like this."

And Santorum, who is know for his hardline attitude towards Iran, said while on the campaign trail in South Carolina: "Our country condemned it. My feeling is we should have kept our mouth shut."

Iranian state television said today Tehran had evidence Washington was behind the latest assassination of one of its nuclear scientists.

In the fifth attack of its kind in two years, a magnetic bomb was attached to the door of 32-year-old Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan's car during the Wednesday morning rush-hour in the capital. His driver was also killed.

The United States has denied involvement in the killing and condemned it. Israel has declined to comment.

"We have reliable documents and evidence that this terrorist act was planned, guided and supported by the CIA," the Iranian foreign ministry said in a letter handed to the Swiss ambassador in Tehran, state TV reported.

"The documents clearly show that this terrorist act was carried out with the direct involvement of CIA-linked agents."

The Swiss Embassy has represented US interests in Iran since Tehran and Washington cut diplomatic ties shortly after the 1979 Islamic revolution.

State TV said a "letter of condemnation" had also been sent to the British government, saying the killing of Iranian nuclear scientists had "started exactly after the British official John Sawers declared the beginning of intelligence operations against Iran".

In 2010, chief of the British Secret Intelligence Service Sawers said one of the agency's roles was to investigate efforts by states to build nuclear weapons in violation of their international legal obligations and identify ways to slow down their access to vital materials and technology.

Tehran has urged the UN Security Council and Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to condemn the latest killing, which Tehran says is aimed at undermining its nuclear work, which the West and Israel say is aimed at building bombs. Tehran says its nuclear programme is purely civilian.

Tension has mounted between Iran and the West as the United States and European Union prepare measures aimed at imposing sanctions on the Iran's oil exports, its economic lifeblood.

The United States and Israel have not ruled out military action if diplomacy fails to resolve the nuclear dispute.

Mi6 boss John Sawers, sssh it's secret, at the Society of Editors, London on 28.10.2010, 14 months and 14 days prior to 11 January 2012:

Sir John Sawers: MI6 chief says intelligence is key to curbing Iran's nuclear power

Intelligence operations are vital to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons, the head of MI6 Sir John Sawers has claimed.

By Laura Roberts

12:15PM BST 28 Oct 2010

He said that diplomacy was not enough and said that intelligence activities were responsible for Iran's admission last year of a second enrichment plant, which in turn led to tougher diplomatic pressure.

"Stopping nuclear proliferation cannot be addressed purely by conventional diplomacy," he sad. "We need intelligence-led operations to make it more difficult for countries like Iran to develop nuclear weapons," he said.

Sir John's comments come as six world powers seek to resume talks with Iran over its nuclear programme, which Tehran insists is for civilian purposes but which Western powers suspect is intended to develop atomic weapons.

The UN Security Council voted for fresh sanctions against Iran in June, the fourth set since December 2006 over its nuclear programme.

He told the Society of Editors in London: "The revelations around Iran's secret enrichment site at Qom were an intelligence success. They led to diplomatic pressure on Iran intensifying, with tougher UN and EU sanctions, which are beginning to bite.

"The Iranian regime must think hard about where its best interests lie."

He added: "The risks of failure in this area are grim.... And the longer international efforts delay Iran's acquisition of nuclear weapons technology, the more time we create for a political solution to be found."

Iran notified the UN nuclear watchdog in September last year that it was building a second enrichment plant near the central city of Qom, after Washington accused it of covertly evading its responsibilities under the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

Sir John warned that the threats posed by al-Qaeda terrorist elements were not just from border areas in Afghanistan and Pakistan but also in Yemen, Somalia and North Africa which could also not be ignored.

"Al-Qaeda have ambitious goals," he said. "Weakening the power of the West. Toppling moderate Islamic regimes. Seizing the Holy Places of Islam to give them moral authority. Taking control of the Arab World's oil reserves. They're unlikely to achieve these goals, but they remain set on trying, and are ready to use extreme violence."

His speech was the first public address by a head of the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS), as MI6 is officially known, and marked his first year in the role.

Don't worry though. SIS, sssh it's secret, are democatrically accountable to our 50 year old Foreign Secretary and Friend of Israel, since he was 15, William Hague.

No doubt all this murder, sssh, it's secret, will all come out in the wash when another one of those lethal Parliamentary Intelligence and Security Select Committees sharpen their well honed teeth for another in depth erm, cosy fireside chat....where, like their name suggests, they usually take the P.I.S.S

It's hardly surprising what the enemies of Iran are doing though, when compared to what happened to JFK over his letters to Israel over Dimona...

This the a first for me quoting from The Atlantic but it's worth it:

Quote:
Israel and Proxy Terrorism

By Robert Wright

Feb 13 2012, 8:43 AM ET 24

Should Israel be classified as a state sponsor of terrorism? That question is being debated in the wake of a story that NBC News broke late last week.

Citing unnamed US officials, NBC reported that Israel has used an Iranian opposition group to carry out those much-publicized assassinations of Iranian scientists. The group in question is the M.E.K. (Mojahedin-e Khalq, or People's Mujahedin of Iran), which since 1997 has been designated a terrorist group by the United States because of its alleged assassinations of US citizens.

The argument for considering Israel a supporter of terrorism comes in two varieties:

1) According to NBC, Israel gives the M.E.K. the funding, training, and weapons to carry out the assassinations--and that would seem to constitute support for a terrorist group.

2) Leaving aside the M.E.K. involvement, there's the argument that the assassinations inherently constitute terrorism. Andrew Sullivan and Kevin Drum had previously suggested that whoever is behind the assassinations is committing terrorism, but this NBC story is the first mainstream media corroboration of the widespread suspicion that Israel is behind them.

After the NBC story broke, Paul Pillar, a former CIA official who teaches at Georgetown, dusted off the definition of terrorism used by the US government for purposes of keeping statistics: "premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against non-combatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents." That, says Pillar, is what these assassinations are.

The counter-arguments have tended not to be big on legalisms. There is the "Look who's talking" argument. "Isn't Iran itself the leading exporter of terrorism in the world?" asks The New York Post. And there's the argument that Iran is an existential threat to Israel and therefore all is fair. "Israel is entirely justified in using whatever means it has to prevent Khameini's government from achieving its genocidal ends," writes Jonathan Tobin in Commentary.

Daniel Larison, writing in The American Conservative, was aghast at Tobin's argument: "In other words, Israeli state sponsorship of a terrorist group is acceptable because it's in a good cause."

This whole issue is in one sense moot. Adding a country to the list of states that sponsor terrorism requires executive branch initiative. And unless I'm misreading the political winds, placing Israel alongside Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism isn't high on President Obama's list of election-year priorities. What's more, strict and consistent enforcement of America's anti-terrorism laws could raise uncomfortable questions about some of America's drone strikes.

Still, there may be some consequential fallout.

There has been a movement afoot to "de-list" the M.E.K.--to remove it from America's list of terrorist groups on the grounds that it has renounced violence and, anyway, hasn't killed an American in a long time. This argument gets made mainly by Americans who support bombing Iran or even engineering regime change--a project the M.E.K. would love to abet. (A few other high-profile Americans have signed on to the de-list-the-M.E.K. cause, but as The Christian Science Monitor reported, they have shown a tendency to get paid tens of thousands of dollars for the speeches in which they express their newfound yet heartfelt sympathy for the M.E.K.)

As Glenn Greenwald wrote in Salon, the NBC report should, if nothing else, "completely gut the effort to remove the M.E.K. from the list of designated terrorist groups; after all, murdering Iran's scientists through the use of bombs and guns is a defining act of a terror group, at least as U.S. law attempts to define the term."

Having beed designated as a terrorist organisation by the UK goverment in 2001, the MEK subsequently found favour again in Whitehall by being delisted in 2007 / 2008.

So, it doesn't really matter if any group are terrorists or not really, as long as they're "on our side" ...

The enemy of my enemy etc ...

And we're all supposed to believe and respect the terrorism narrative ?

US, Israel behind Iran scientist assassination

Link

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVSqFQCzMn8
Published on 1 Dec 2016

On the sixth anniversary of the assassination of a leading Iranian nuclear scientist, a former American intelligence agent says the US and Israel were behind the assassination.
Former CIA case officer and US Army intelligence officer , Philip Giraldi, says the anti-Iran terrorist group Mojahedeen e-Khalgh Organization conducted Majid Shahriari’s assassination. According to Giraldi, killing Shahriari and three other physicists were part of attempts by Tel Aviv and Washington to interfere and damage Iran’s peaceful nuclear research program. On November 28, 2010, Shahriari was assassinated in Tehran. He was the most prominent Iranian scientist killed between 2010 and 2012. The US and Israel are also believed to be the creators of the Stuxnet cyber weapon that targeted Iran’s nuclear sites in 2011.
