I've unearthed a video of a broadcast on BBC News 24 on the day of the attacks:

http://www.veoh.com/videoDetails.html?v=e85459NJaeBWD7

You can also download a good quality xvid AVI file from that site too (19Mbyte).

The BBC's Steven Evans, who was in the north tower when the attacks happened, tells of the plane attacks and adds:

"Then, an hour later, we had that big explosion, from much much lower. I don't know what on earth caused that."

This interview was recorded at about 10.28am New York time, since he is interrupted as the north tower collapses behind him.

The times on the video are the UK time of the original broadcast on 9/11.

Stephen Evans is now 'British affairs correspondent' for the World Service. He says he 'leaves his politics at the door'. This is a man who actually heard bombs going off inside the building.....it must be the old cognitive dissonance at work again.

Article about Stephen Evans.

I emailed him asking if he heard bombs going off in the North tower. He replied that he did not. I then responded quoting his actual words from the interview back to him......"about an hour later there was that big explosion from much lower. I don't know what caused that....".

I said to him, "This was obviously after the second aircraft struck the South Tower. Have you ever found out what this explosion was?"

No reply received as yet.

Question(kind of, but not completely, unrelated): Is the BBC World Service a tool of MI6?

Well done. It sounds like he's in denial.

Is the BBC MI6? Yes of course.

How about go paying Mr Evans a visit with a dvd camera - like the BBC do. Then send a copy to the BBC ask them to show it!! Hopefully he punches you Smile
