Hi Dr Hemp,

apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but ive been locked out the forum for awhile lately.

Could you give me the lowdown of how the last David Shayler and Annie Machon appearance went in Totnes?

My folks were back in the country and supposed to get there but got waylayed. They checked the papers and said it appeared to have gotten no coverage, is that right? Sad

Did anyone get anyvideo? Or was it all cancelled when David couldnt make it?

Can anyone confirm that this event is taking place and that as far as is known, David Shayler will be present?

Is there any policy against filming it, like in Chicago? As ill up it by tuesday upon return to Manchester if not.

Is the trance party the night before connected or just for fun and will anyone be there?

Well, that was an excellent weekend - a fantastic party and a well-organised talk.

If people are moved to organise similar events, please do talk to 911 Totnes directly. I'm sure that if we were putting on events like this across the country, the movement would be growing exponentially.

I've been late to repost here as I'm having hell with uploading the footage I took of the talk but I wish to thank everyone involved in putting that together and personally thank Annie, David and Ian for an extremely impassioned, informative and inspiring evening. Thanks to anyone I had time to chat to briefly in some of the outside conversations too. It was an honour to attend and as Annie says, alot more of such events are sorely needed. I'll do my best to put something together in Manchester next term after some film nights to gain & guage some numbers. I'd be honoured if I could get you guys down for something similar in future, so I'll look into venues.

I'll post the links to the uploaded films as soon as they finally get there and I'll post copies down to Totnes directly tommorow aswell.

I had intentions of coming down to Totnes for last weekend but changed my mind (I live just north of Reading!).

Then I noticed on the Oxford 911 website that you and David were there in March. Do you have any plans to be in Oxford soon?

No plans as such, although David missed the last talk because of a busted ankle, so there may well be another session come the new academic year. Or how about coming into London for one of our regular meetings? It would be good to meet up.
