And our intelligence.

AN INSULT TO BRITAIN

BRITISH director of acclaimed September 11 hijack dramatisation United 93 says there must be a public inquiry into the July 7th attacks.

By Paul Greengrass

WHEN we filmed United 93, we had a bible to guide us every step of the way.

It was 567 pages long and beautifully written ----

Wow, and I had a lot of respect for Paul Greengrass before this...

Crying or Very sad

Actually, let me clarify that: I agree 100% with his comments regarding 7/7 and the need for a public enquiry, but to support the 9/11 Commission Report to this extent defies belief, much like said publication.

In terms of the campaign for a 7 july inquiry, people should be aware that Rachel North (a self appointed voice for the campaign amongst the survivors) publicly endorses Greengrass and his film and holds up the 9/11 commission as a model for a July 7 inquiry.

The case for an inquiry is growing by the day. The key question to focus on is the independence, transparency, legal weight and remit of any inquiry.

Don't forget that this guy is unable to criticise the 9/11 report in any way, or hold any parts of it up as flawed, as to do so would destoy the very thing his film is based on - that of an account of the events. No doubt he has, or is hoping to, been remunerated extremely handsomely for his efforts!!!

Considering he made a film about Bloody Sunday, his assumption of the four alleged bombers' guilt is breathtaking. I seem to remember something about being innocent until proved guilty. Obviously that does not apply to Muslims.
