Obama in Berlin: 'Ich bin ein globalist'

........The site of the Victory Column evoked a problematic symbolism; erected as a monument to the Prussian victories over Denmark and later France in (1870-71), the monument was also a favorite of the Nazi regime. Not that history gets in the way with the all-knowing, Global Team Obama, but considering you are speaking at a monument to victory over France one day, and then visiting the French president the very next day, let's say is a bit awkward. But who cares? The message of change outweighs the lessons of history!

Come to think of it, it is equally curious that an American politician, who's not president, is holding a mass political rally in Berlin, a city which sadly evokes a less than pleasant experience with political rallies......

Remember back in May when media gushed and fawned over a huge crowd in Portland, Oregon -- supposedly gathered to hear the words of Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama -- but chose not to report the free concert given before his speech?

Well, it has been learned that before the presumptive Democrat nominee spoke to a crowd in Berlin Thursday, two popular German acts -- reggae artist Patrice and rock band Reamonn -- entertained the gathering audience.

Will media report this tonight, or just gush and fawn over the huge crowd again?

While you ponder, here's what was reported by Spiegel Online moments ago (h/t Hot Air and Gateway):

Obama Bludgeons Berlin with Brzezinski’s Post Cold War Trauma

As I heard Obama’s “I come to Berlin as so many of my countrymen
have come before. Tonight, I speak to you not as a candidate for
President, but as a citizen...”, what leaped into my mind was
“Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears. I have come to
bury Cesar, not to praise him.”

30% of Obama’s speech doggedly rekindled German angst of its
defunct oppressor, the Soviet Union. Throughout, he mongered
Machiavellian fear – fear of the Russians - fear of terrorists –
fear of drugs - fear of Iran – while promoting the Zombie NATO and
himself.

Blatantly he emphasized cold war relics, the siege of Berlin,
Germany’s debt to the US and its military puppet NATO, without
mentioning Germany’s contribution, America’s self interest and
profit from it, or Nazi Germany. 16 times he used “wall”; 9 times
“war”; his trademark “hope” only 8 times; “freedom” 7 times;
“Soviet” 5 times; “airlift” 4 times, even patching his father into
it; “cold war”, “NATO”, and “struggle” 3 times; but only once did
he positively mention Russia: “We must reject the Cold War
mind-set of the past, and resolve to work with Russia when we can,
to stand up for our values when we must, and to seek a partnership
that extends across this entire continent [but not the world?]”
[my emphasis above]. Instead of the reminding Berlin of the
sacrifices of the people that overthrew their own dictator, broke
the Nazi’s back and liberated Eastern Europe, he darkly intones
“The Soviet shadow had swept across Eastern Europe.”

Obama’s exaggerations ran rampantly one sided: 1) “They [Soviets]
cut off food and supplies to more than two million Germans in an
effort to extinguish the last flame of freedom in Berlin.”
Regardless of what the Soviets became, the bad blood between
Russia and the West originated from the West. It was the US that
first used food as a weapon, although they propagandized
differently. The Americans and British sent money and troops to
defeat the Reds in Russia during and after WWI . Though the
Bolsheviks did become oppressors, at the time they could just as
easily have said the West was supporting reactionary Czarists bent
on restoring a dictatorship “to extinguish the last flame of
freedom” in Russia. The US was preparing for war with the Soviets
long before the end of WWII. The unnecessary nuking of Japan was a
warning to and race to beat the Soviets into Japan .

Obama’s hyperbole then becomes fantasy, “The size of our forces
was no match for the much larger Soviet Army. And yet retreat
would have allowed Communism to march across Europe… All that
stood in the way was Berlin.” If Berlin had fallen, it would have
not brought the downfall of the rest of Europe. American nuclear
power dwarfed and daunted the Soviet army, not Berlin. Moreover,
the US fire bombing of Dresden, Tokyo, and other Axis cities; the
nuclear bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima; the support of the
massacre of over 50,000 South Korean dissidents; the assassination
of Aldo Moro and false flag terrorist massacres committed by
Gladio in Europe which were blamed on the Communists; etc., etc.,
all prove that US troops and politicians were war criminals, mass
murderers, and sophists.

Obama promoted the continued expansion of NATO and the war on
false flag terrorism, “But my country and yours have a stake in
seeing that NATO’s first mission beyond Europe’s borders is a
success. …This is the moment when we must defeat terror and dry up
the well of extremism that supports it….This is the moment when we
must renew our resolve to rout the terrorists who threaten our
security in Afghanistan, and the traffickers who sell drugs on
your streets.” The facts are that bin Laden and Afghan “terrorism”
was cultivated and funded by the CIA against the Soviets.
Terrorism has taken less than 10,000 lives in the West in its
entire history. It is much less of a threat to world populations
than automobiles and industrialization; than depleted uranium
weapons and land mines; than alcohol and cigarettes, which kill
more than all illegal drugs combined multiplied by 1000; than
shark attacks and lightning. The Afghan “terrorists” he blames
completely stopped the growing of opium in Afghanistan. It was
only after the convicted felon Admiral (Iran-Contra-Cocaine)
Poinsdexter took over in Afghanistan that the opium trade was
revived. The Americans army now assures Afghan growers that they
will do nothing to their poppy crops .

His “musterbation” for a new world order waxes 19 times, promoting
nation and world building in struggle after struggle, with him,
the US, NATO, and Europe leading and fighting the way. Where will
this money come from? Reasonable people must wake up and realize
that Obama is but demagogue, Brzezinski’s Post Cold War Traumatic
Syndrome preparing Europe for war with Russia with himself as
leader. Mark Antony lives. The New World Order empire surges.

Will it be “McInsane” or “Obummer” after Big Brother Bush? As they
say in Germany, “gehopst wie gesprungen - vom Regen in die
Traufe.”

I held a placard which, even if I could transfer it onto this post, would be difficult to read. Anyhow, it read:
