My comments..
***Before you read the rest of this, I want to say I know the `war` started from abductions and rocket fire, decision date for Iran, etc... However, my points are for when it ends....

My problem with this is , as stated above,
" The Executive Directors expressed support and good will towards Lebanon in its efforts to address macroeconomic, governance, and social challenges."

A. There is a mechanism in place now to help `foreign finance projects.` (convienient)...?
B. We are led to believe that government has `little` or `no` power. ( how can that be ? `the world bank` is not going to lend money to an Ineffectual Government)...? ( well they probably do it for eternal debt (profit) I suppose ).
C. I`m sure `the world bank` could recommend a few good builders...? ( now that`s cynical ).
D. Yet another country in crippling debt, well after it gets rebuilt `again`....?
E. Or am I just becoming very cynical, and getting wrapped up in some perverse reality ?

Sounds like they've arranged for as much profit to be made from Lebanon's destruction as possible.
I wonder what Syria's view on this was at the time.

Its interesting that Paul Wolfowitz, Necon and PNAC member, is the head of the World Bank.

I can't help but think that putting "one of their own" to be the boss of such a powerful organisation is just for their own ends given what has happened.

I think it is all part of the plan.

And I dread to think what will happen once the British and others have been evacuated. It feels like the British Government are saying, 'hang on a minute, let us get our people out before you do anything too drastic!' and the Israelis comply with 'windows' in their blockade to allow the navy in and out.

Looks like mop up the profits time.
This all looks more and more planned everyday.


And the Core Group are.....drum roll please...
The Core Group includes the UN, the European Union, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Russia, the United Kingdom, France and the United States.



But you know what I could be wrong.....
