All,
I`ve just spent half a day (god I`m sad!) searching through over 500 interview transcripts with NY emergency workers who attended the WTC.
Some of whom actually witnessed the collapses, although this stuff has been mentioned before I`m certain I`ve found some new evidence.
Some of it is absolute DYNAMITE, how a bonafide commission could ignore demolition as a theory after reading these reports is unimaginable.
Some quotes:
"he said, 'you were there when the planes hit?', I said 'no when it exploded, the building exploded', he said 'you mean when it fell down?, 'I said NO when it exploded"
"the tower was--it looked to me-- I thoughtit was exploding actually. Thats what I thought for hours afterwards, that it had exploded or there had been some device on the plane that had exploded"
"we looked staright up, we were close. All we saw was a puff of smoke coming from about 2/3 of the way up. Some people thought it was an explosion..I remember seeing sparkling around one sepcific layer of the building..THEN the building started to come down. My initilal reaction was that this was exactly the way it looks when they show you those implosions on TV"
"before no2 came down, I saw low level flashes. In my converstaions with Lieutenant Evangelista never menioning this to him he questioned me and asked me if I saw low level flashes in front of the bulding...I saw FLASH FLASH FLASH then the building came down"
"Q: was that on the lower level or up where the fire was"
"No the lower level of the building, You know like when they demolish a building, how when they blow up a building, when it falls down? Thats what I thought I saw...he said "I dont know if I`m crazy..did you see anything by the building..he said did you see any flashes?" I saw them too"
"Qn the TV pictures it appears as well, before the collapse that there was an explosion on the upper floors."
"I know about the explosion on the upper floors, this was at eye level...somewhere around that area I saw flashes"
"Q: What did you head, what did you see?"
"It was a blasted noise. At first I thought it was-do you ever see professional demolition where they set up charges on certain floors and then you hear POP!, POP!, POP!, POP!- thats exactly what-because I thought it was that"
Thats a small selection of what I found, the interviews were all done in the 8 weeks after 9/11. The witnesses are all emergency professionals which makes their testimony especially valid.
If anyone wants references let me know as if I just give the individual web links as there is just a poxy list of over 500 pdf files on the NY Times website.

Here's what I came across in the archives that I found particularly interesting
Quote: | But right before the south tower collapsed I noticed a lot of people just left the lobby, and I heard we had a crew of all different people, high-level people in government, everybody was gone, almost like they had information that we didn't have. Some of them were moved across the street to the command post. |
