I recall on the DVD 'confronting' etc someone commenting on the fact that the tower(s) collapsed faster than gravity would allow,has this been substantiated ?

I do remember that guy and in my opinion he was one of the least impressive guests.
I don't think that it was an accurate statement, perhaps we was referring to some of the rubble that would have been ejected from the towers?
I believe that the South Tower -- which came down first -- fell at freefall speed and the North Tower at virtually freefall speed. I will try and find some links for that. |

The reason for the "faster than freefall speed" of 8.1 seconds as opposed to about 9.06 seconds freefall could be attributed to the vacuum effect sucking the floors down slightly as the air was blasted outwards from the centre. This was the suggestion given in George Humphrey's video "911 Great Illusion".
