The story now is that it was Pakistan who wanted to stop the alleged plot from developing, not America. I wonder what prompted the change?

Also, it seems that Britain hasn't begun extradition proceedings yet against Rauf. It's been a week now. Anyone else find that strange? Of course, he wouldn't be the first so-called terrorist to have been kept holed up in Pakistan (or elsewhere), nicely tucked up out of the way of any potentially incriminating questions or - heaven help us - a possible trial.

And if my arithmetic's correct, the latest arrest today makes it 42 'suspects' now being held in Pakistan and the UK in connection with the alleged plot. Anyone care to take bets on how many will actually end up being charged?
