French Connection Origins of the PENTAGON STRIKE VIDEO

Have a look at this interesting French Connection regarding the origin of the famous Pentagon Strike Video . The video/shockwave thingy is definitely worth watching.

The website Catalytic discusses the story that Russian intelligence had Satellite Photos of the craft that launched the missile strike on the Pentagon. Thierry Meyssan (the researcher who first broke the 'no plane at the Pentagon story') was asked by either the French or Russian intelligence to write his book "Pentagate" to "leak" the info that Flight 77 did not hit the Pentagon. His instructions were, apparently, that he had to "make the case" without recourse to the satellite photos.

It makes a very interesting read........

I would say though that Memri has been accused of selectively translating articles from the Arab/Islamic press to portray Arabs/Muslims in a bad light.

Perhaps they think that this article (Iranians think 9/11 committed by US government) will further increase US resolve to go to war against Iran.

I remember reading that first Guardian article a while ago....

You are correct, Memri is not an authoratative news organisation by any means, more of an spin machine, and the reason you state makes sense, i.e. to up the ante for the likely US action on Iran. ( http://www.commondreams.org/views05/0411-21.htm )
