Due to popular local demand we are starting a discussion and activism group, this is initially being set-up by members of the large and disparate anglophone expatriate community here in S.W. France, but we expect it to quickly become more diverse in its membership. So I am seeking advice on how to proceed. All advice gratefully received! |

2 suggestions
1) hold a film screening in local bar/cinema/social centre, etc: ensure lots of notice and publicity, hand out flyers at stations, shopping centres, markets. At the event suggest people give contact details. Set up an email list or simple website to connect people and take it from there. This network started with a meeting in a pub of around 20 people and that meeting was started by sending out a few emails
2) look into the French angle of the war on terror. Nafeez Ahmed's book on 7/7 has lots of good detail casting doubt on the perpetrators of the Paris metro bombs and the state/military sponsorship of Algerian terrorism
Good luck |
