Liverpool meeting of mind

Hi guys,

After having a most productive chat with Sinclair about the way forward, I've been knocked back from my chosen venue ( "I don't really want to get involved" was the exact response I got ).

As a consequence, I'm interested in getting some heads together in Liverpool this week to discuss alternative venues for screenings/meetings, etc.

Thursday would be optimum, given that very few people have to get up the next day. Wednesday could also be a go-er.

Venue is likely to be central and pub-like in appearance.

Good to hear that things are moving forward, but no surprise that there are venue problems - we are being moved around all the time in London too. Always a good excuse for a "planning meeting" in a pub, though!

After discussions with Paul, this invitation is now extended to any persons within the general North West area.

Please PM either myself or Paul (Pap) in order to register your interest. A central location will be chosen & agreed from the respondents. This includes Manchester/Cheshire/Lancashire etc.

Welcome Stephen. Yep establishing constituency 911 truth groups throughout GB & Ireland is essential if we are going create that peaceful critical V for vendatta public mass of Gandhi style non co-operation and our way out of the matrix ourselves as one!

Hey guys, I realise I am a month late on this thread but I am in cheshire and would defo like to get together with fellow truth seekers. There doesn't seem to be much going on in the north west - not that I have seen anyways! Let me know if there's any upcoming events.

Hi Mooter, keep your eye on the monthly calender here or visit truth group websites (our website lists all known to us UK 911 truth group websites)

911 North west groups I know of are Skipton, West Yorkshire, and Blackpool and our group, Cumbria. Individuals have tried to get 911 groups together in Manchester and Liverpool but surprisingly nothing appears to have been established yet. Many of the NW 911 skeptics/truthers last came together at an event in Southport (reported on the forum: see the archives!).

If your interested your welcome to come along to a 911 Cumbria meeting, our next meeting is this Thursday at a venue just off junction 36 of the M6.

The Blackpool 911 truth group meet regularly at an exhibition centre just off the promenade which is well worth a visit of enlightenment.

I'm interestered in starting up a 9-11 truth group in the Liverpool/Wirral area, I'll see if I can get a Gig for the meet even if its just 4 people in a back room of a pub its a start.

I'm glad you posted a reply on this subject becuse I've been waiting to meet up with like minded souls.

And of course you can all come to London for the 5th anniversary weekend! We're having a talk by David Ray Griffin, a national conference, a gig and a demo. The London group is sorting out beds for people. A good chance to meet up with large numbers of like-minded souls....

I've been thinking about the coming down for the weekend for the Talk/Demo in London, But its raising the money for travel costs and digs, Does anyone know some cheap digs, I know one place in in south London its £35 a night but I live on jobseekers and your talkin at lest £160 sqiud for three days if you include food and money for the tube etc.....

Or if anyone from the London area who could put me up for two nights it would be very much appreciated ? Please PM me.

We've asked all the London supporters to offer up spare beds for the weekend, so all you should need to pay for should be travel and food. If you can PM me with your details, I'll put you on the list of people who need accommodation.

Hi,

Yep the cost of attending the London event will unfortunately be a barrier for many.

Public transport: the megabus is dead cheap but it takes a long time. Ok if youve got plenty of it.......time! The train is cheap if you book tickets on line through Virgin well in advance (re: two singles from Cumbria to London total cost £32)

If I decide to travel by car instead of train I may have 1/2 places in my travelling from Cumbria to London via M6 and M1.

Anyone on this route who requires a lift, with a small donation for petrol, pm me on here!

By networking and helping each other we can keep costs to a minimum!

Thanx especially to those in London who had kindly offered accommodation!

I've posted on this thread because I live in Macclesfield and would like to attend the London events over the anniversary weekend.[probable but not definite]

If I do I would probably have spare seats in the car, and could give someone a lift. I don't think I will be staying the whole weekend though.

I've been involved with net activities and with the Scholars, but I don't know much about the organisational aspects so could someone give me some details of who to contact regarding tickets etc.

The Official Conspiracy Theory is the one with the 19 Hijackers - we don't think there is is enough evidence to support this theory. Prof Griffin and Kevin Ryan both refer to the 19 Hijackers Theory as the Official Conspiracy Theory.

What I meant was, I think it is far better to reject the labelling given to groups like us by those who don't know the facts. I therefore simply meant call it a 9/11 Truth Stall or even a 9/11 Facts Stall rather than a 9/11 Conspiracy (Theory) stall.

It's your stall, however, and you can call it whatever you like....!!!

Hi folks. I joined up ages ago, but only just got round to looking at the site properly.

I'm a film maker based in Liverpool and would love to film the event on Sunday 10th possibly for a documentary about British 911truth movement.

As it stands I need to swap some shifts to get the day off. I may have a friend to stay with down there already but not sure yet. If not i may need somewhere to stay for the night. Any backup offer of a spare room or even a couch appreciated.

For the record and future campaigning it would be helpful if whizzkid could blog us here what really happened.

Despite some police provocation, I had a dose from one officer, I thought that we were fabulously focused on peace and our mission.

Our biggest protection in these circumstances is the camcorder and camera. The police feel really uncomfortable when you point the lense in their direction!

Recordings will also identify any unwelcome infiltration. We need an independent press, like Gandhi had, as our guardian angels! Not sure myself about Indymedia?

The lesson is be prepared when you campaign on the front line and keep focused on playing the ball and not the man!
