In a few weeks time an extremely important vote will take place in the Commons. Should the Bill fail then it will effectively mean no evidence is needed for extraditions. It is aimed at our community. From my database I have handpicked those who I hope will, put their religious differences and personalities to one side and ensure MP's in their constituencies vote for Clause 8.

If the Bill fails, then it opens the floodgates. You could be subject to extraditions without any reasons and this is regardless of your rights as a British subject. We will be taken a step closer to situation in the US, whereby in certain states, if a non Muslim mentions he overheard or witnessed a Muslim behaving suspiciously, that brother or sister are arrested immediately.
I have drafted a note which can be sent to your local MP.

It is important we lobby our MP's.

So much for evidence before trail and the presumption of innocence before of guilt.

Please forward to those you trust.

My suggrested draft which can be cut and paste ect.

Dear _____________- (name of your MP)

Earlier this year (10 May 2006) a vote for a new Clause 8 to the Police and Justice Bill took place which unfortunately was not passed. The intent of this Clause included the bringing in line of the Extradition Act in with EDM241, which stated that the U.S. should provide prima facie evidence before requesting the extradition of anyone from Britain and secondly that extradition can be refused if the accused can be prosecuted in Britain for offences alleged to have been committed in Britain.

This amendment is very important to the feeling of security from arbitrary extradition in the Muslim community in out constituency. I am sure you are aware, this issue is now returning to the Commons in October this year i.e. in a few weeks time.

Can I confirm that you are planning to once again vote in line with EDM241 and in favour of this new Clause 8?

Kind Regards,
