I've emailed Oliver Harvey the following:
Mr Harvey, I've just read your article. As you may or may not know, the FBI confirmed a couple of months ago that they have no hard evidence that bin Laden was behind 9/11. See:

and:

In addition, the CIA has disbanded its unit dedicated to capturing bin Laden. See:
http://www.commondreams.org/headlines06/0704-05.htm
I'm sure you understand the many questions that arise from the FBI's assertion that they have no hard evidence of bin Laden's involvement in 9/11. Questions involving the right to wage war (and to continue to wage war) on such a pretext, and so on. An article coming at the issue from this angle would be a very interesting and thought-provoking read, especially as the majority of your readers are likely unaware of what the FBI and CIA have been saying recently.
Yours,
Gordon Robertson.
From a 9/11 truth viewpoint, my wording may seem weak. I saw no point, however, in trying to argue the case with a Sun journalist. For all the obvious reasons. Pointing out unbalanced reporting, or factual errors, outwith of a so-called 'conspiracy' framework, may actually elicit a response from journalists that doesn't involve sneering cynicism, and playground-style put-downs.
And then again, it may not. |
