Who is up for attending this conference in Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, London, and/or leafletting it on Saturday? I am drafting a special leaflet for distribution at it.

Folk may be tired after last weekend's 9/11 anniversary events, but some will be feeling inspired to redouble our efforts to get the message out there.

We will have copies of this leaflet written by Noel and tweaked by me to hand out to people attending this event

Quote:
Racism and the War

Due to the so-called War on Terror, racial discrimination and racist attacks are on the increase. Muslims and those who might in ignorance be thought to be Muslim are in the front line. The Jewish community is also reporting increased discrimination and violence.

A vital approach to healing this is to stop the War on Terror and to negotiate a just settlement in the Middle East which respects the rights and dignity of all people in the region. But the mega-rich criminals who seek ever greater power for themselves throughout the world will do their damnedest to prevent peace and justice from breaking out, as they profit from armaments, oil and international banking.

To end the racism and stop the war, the reasons for the war must be investigated. To justify the war, the Bush and Blair governments have steadily fed the public lies: weapons of mass destruction, yellow cake uranium from Niger, dodgy dossier, ricin plot (where no ricin was found) the “suicide” of Dr David Kelly, the activities of Jean Charles de Menezes etc. In the recent "foiled airport conspiracy" which caused so much disruption, no evidence at all was presented by the government, yet Muslims were arrested and held without charge.

But it goes even deeper. On the eve of the 5th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Saturday Sept 9th, Conway Hall was packed to overflowing with people eager to hear eminent US 9/11 expert and writer David Ray Griffin. Prof. Griffin has studied the evidence in great depth and concluded that the official account of what happened on 11th September 2001 is also a pack of lies. In four well-researched books he has set out his findings. As a result he has become a hero of the 9/11 Truth Movement throughout the world.

It may surprise you to learn that the FBI have stated that Osama bin Laden is not wanted by them for the 9/11 attacks, because they do not have enough evidence against him which would stand up in court. So there’s enough evidence to start a war, but not enough for a court of law.

If you think it is absurd to doubt Bush and Blair’s word about who was behind the 9/11 attacks, research it for yourselves. There is a mass of evidence on the web and many theories as to what might really have happened. Some of them are indeed absurd, but to stop the war we do not need to prove what really happened, merely that the official story is impossible disinformation because it does not fit the evidence.

United call for a further investigation

There has been no criminal investigation into this, the greatest crime ever committed in the US. Given this extraordinary failure, it is now up to the international community to act to save our planet from global domination by the criminals who have gained control of the US government. Come on, London group - we need 3 or 4 volunteers to leaflet this event.

We can't always leave leafletting to the usual suspects!

Regards

Annie

I've has several people writing me to say they can't make it for perfectly good reasons, but no one who says they can.

Looks like I'll be on me own.
