http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/5355976.stm

So one of the men accused of the so-called 2004 fertiliser plot has refused to give any more evidence regarding the ISI because they've contacted his family back home in Pakistan?

Hmm. Now why would a nation's security service be worried about what an accused terrorist has to say?

Unless ... ?

Nah. That'd be ludicrous.

... and ISI couldn't be under the control of MI5/6 could they?

That would be preposterous!

During the Soviet-Afghan war of the 1980s there was an enhancement of the covert action capabilities of the ISI by the CIA. A number of officers from the ISI's Covert Action Division received training in the US and many covert action experts of the CIA were attached to the ISI to guide it in its operations against the Soviet troops by using the Afghan Mujahideen, Islamic fundamentalists of Pakistan and Arab volunteers.

The Pakistan connection is going to have to be investigated sometime.

Seems to me that a weak link for the criminal Anglo-American cabal is Pakistan.

For politicians, the media and the public, saying that there are well developed Al Qaida and Muslim Fundamentalist networks in Pakistan will not be decried as a conspiracy theory. It is also accepted that Saudi Arabia is also a centre for terrorist Fundamentalism.

Yet, there is one massive contradiction, right in front of everyone's faces that is not addressed. Why is it that the allies of the US and UK in the region harbour the most developed Al Qaida networks? But further, Bush and Blair will tell us that Iran and Syria constitute grave threats to world peace. They would argue that the West should, at least, consider the use of military force against these countries. Yet, they also say that Al Qaida, with bases among their allies is the number one threat to civilization.

Now, apparently, various UK terror plots have a Pakistan link. Thanks to the recent trial (and a bum script no doubt), Omar Khayyam says that the ISI has inadvertently trained people who become Al Qaida terrorists. (No wonder they want him to shut up.)

We know, of course but the public is bearly aware of this contradiction. But it is ready of exploitation.

Why is there no US, UK, EU, UN commission, inquiry, investigation or whatever you like to call it about how to deal with Al Qaida terrorists among important Western allies? Why no inquiry into the nature of these networks? Why no regular effort on the part of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to report on what they are doing about Al Qaida sympathisers inside and outside their governments. Why don't the public ask more questions about this?

We should support a campaign to bring this about. We should highlight the extent to which MI6 and CIA have supported the intelligence agencies of these countries. Shining a light on this would light up the massive anomolies of the official conspiracy theory. It could be a first step to get many people who believe the official theory to start questioning it.
