I am not attempting to be inflammatory and it is not a complaint more an observation, but I would really like a response to the following.

We have a list of 'areas' where people add threads relevant to subject matter of that topic.

Recently someone started a thread in the ‘General’ section about the moon landings and a moderator questioned him why - which is a fair comment.

However, I see continual new threads being added to the General section that in their own way, bear zero reference to 9/11 whatsoever and nothing is said to them. This seems highly selective in that some people can start threads on whatever they like – no comeback. People expect a certain level of moderation and it all appears to be very random.

Sites of this genre will always attract a percentage of individuals with a certain mindset and spectrum of interests. With this in mind, there will always be off-9/11 topics that people want to discuss – so isn’t it time to either start a new topic section that really is ‘General’ or be much stricter on threads being started that have no connection to 9/11?

Lovely sidestep, just more avoidance.
