Hi 911 activists/potential activists
A significant contribution to the 911 Truth campaign can be made IMO as an individual by writing to the local press to raise awareness of the 911 truth and awaken the public. Remember many folk do not have access to the world wide web, so this website is only attainable for a small minority.
If you have a freebie weekly newspaper with a letters to the editor section they present the best circulation opportunity, they are delivered to every household. In my area its the "Citizen" which is owned by
the American/global media giant Gannet! There are also local newsapers worth writing to.
Its a challenge and it will only cost you a stamp, the stationery and your time or less if you e mail it (I dont use email mail......wouldnt want them to know my e mail address!). Analyse the editors/papers policy on publishing letters before composing your letter. Many restrict the number of words and insist on a name, address. You may be able to use a pseudoym. The editor of my local Citizen only permits a maximum of 300 words and does not allow the use of pseudoyms, even for whistleblowers!!!!!! You can get round the word limitation by referring to websites, books or events etc! If you can get someone to proof read your letter before submitting.
If 911 truth campaigners do write I would be most interested to read the letters and of the outcome of how the editors have handled the letter on this website. I hope you have more success than I have to date.
My latest letter was submitted last week and was published this week under the editors headline "What would you choose?" highlights the animal you are up against (the red highlighted text indicates that which was cut by the publication):-
Quote: | Re: Letters to the editor
Having read the book “The New Pearl Harbour” by David Ray Griffin and just finished reading “911 Revealed challenging the facts behind the War on Terror” by Ian Henshall/Rowland Morgan I wish to submit the following test for publication and consideration by your readers.
This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. No one else will know, so you wont be fooling anyone but yourself if you give anything but a truthful answer.
The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision. Your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous.
Please read slowly and thoughtfully, giving due consideration. Here's the situation:
You are in Florida; Miami to be specific. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photo journalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water. Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury. Suddenly you see a two men floundering in the water. They are fighting for their life, trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer...somehow the men look familiar. You suddenly realize that its George W. Bush, President of the United States and Tony Blair our Prime Minister!!
At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take them... forever. You have two options-you can save the life of both of them, or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of two of the world's most powerful men.
So here's the question, and please give an honest answer:
Would you select high contrast colour film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white? |
By deleting the first paragraph the message has been destroyed...............so why has the editor taken this unfair and unreasonable action if he is supposed to represent professional independent journalism i.e revealing the truth? Is he deliberately trying to stop the truth getting out? It will be interesting to see the response, if any, in future editions.
Writing to the local press is probably the best opportunity for campaigning by individauls. It is a difficult and challenging task as the editors restrict you to the number of words and of course they are free to edit and change the message so that it could end up saying something which you would not have wished, as is the case with the above unreasonably edited letter.
I am told by a journalist friend that the best read pages are the letters to the editor pages!!!!!
Happy creating, never give up and bear in mind Maureen's words of wisdom "theres no such thing as bad publicity"!
