Some British naval officer who was on an "Advisory Group" to Washington [ie: high up] had research paper leaked to Newsnight the other week. The paper criticised handling of both the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The MOD went mad over it and began claiming after it was a junior researcher and was academic based. The general in charge demanded to see the BBC for a talk back... and he got paxman dispatched especially Smile

..which was one of the most blaten pieces of biased drivel I've seen in a while. Where's Webster Tarpley when you need someone to tell it as it is on these efforts? The day he gets invited to put the counter argument is the day I buy [my first ever] license fee.
