Basically a fire in a church, spread to a couple of interesting other buildings.

A fire began at the First Methodist Church in Downtown Memphis around 3:30am Friday, sparking fires at several nearby buildings in the area.

Firefighters battled the blaze for over an hour to bring it under control when embers from the church spread south, catching a vacant furniture warehouse on fire. That building has since collapsed.

The fire has also spread to two other buildings, the Lincoln American building and the Lowenstein building, where over 50 fire trucks and hundreds of Memphis firefighters continue to battle the flames. "

I read about the renovations before posting originally.

I agree this has no direct relation to 911 but the Insurance scam is similar.

Also there was a report ( I`ll try and find it ) about the election commision offices being `damaged` by smoke.

There may be a political angle.
