For the purpose of national activism can I suggest that at the beginning of the month the website announces a monthly national campaign theme to produce a united front of activism throughout the UK for individuals and constituency groups to follow:- eg fly posting (re: the 911 truth websites), recruitment, the creation of new groups, etc.
Can I suggest that November 2005 be flyposting month. If every activist can flypost at least 10 posters this would create a considerable visual impact and awaken Joe public. Positioning posters? (use your imagination and creativity:- bus & railway stations, telecom boxes, roadsigns adjacent crawling commuter traffic (theres plenty of opportunity for that), speed cameras, chevron signs off motorway slipway roundabouts etc.
www.freewayblogger.com is a good place to visit for ideas.

Now as individuals we may choose to break the law and flypost but clearly the campaign does not endorse or incite law breaking, just in case anyone might be confused
As a general point, I would fully encourage local groups and individuals to propose and promote focussed actions each month and we can use monthly e-bulletins and this forum to promote them. |

Is flyposting illegal?
Whats the difference between us sticking up a 911 truth poster and the MPs flyposting their vote for me campaigns prior to the UK general election earlier this year?
Thats one negative message you have sent out for the 911 Truth campaign Ian.
If the 911 truth campaign is to succeed then relying totally on individuals and this website is a non starter. How many people access the website Ian?
To achieve the critical mass of public support fly posting IMO is at the moment the only alternative we have to draw peoples to the more detailed information on websites like this. Its the tactic that the powers that be use to condition us, look around you Ian.
A true 911 campaigner will flypost .............."He/she who dares...... cares"

Hi Pikey, It's so nice to see you flying the campaign flag with focused spirit. I wish that I had half of your energy right now. As you know from our earlier meetings, I for one am in complete agreement with fly posting, (we still going to do the M6?) after all if local parlimentary campaigners can fly post without fear of retribution, then why the hell cant we. I feel there are too few maveriks amogst our ranks. It's time to take the fight to the streets for god sake!!! I say fly post till you drop people!!! It's either that or, sit on this "talking shop" for the next 5 years and massage each othere ego's. |

Hi Pikey
I checked out the freeway blogger site. I guess the illegal bit (and the bit that may attract negative publicity) is anything that is permanent such as spray paint etc that will lead to criminal damage charges. But large boards painted with large letters fixed to railings would not be illegal
I particularly like the signs over motorways etc.
Redkat, I agree that we need to push things and individually we might choose to work on the edges of or outside the law (hopefully without violence). The only reason I posted the "this campaign does not condone flyposting" post is to make it clear that to the extent that this site has organisers we are not vulnerable to charges of inciting others to act criminally. However if someone were to take it on themselves and dress up as a superhero and occupy a prominent building just as the 6 O'Clock news goes on air, so be it. |

In an attempt to consolidate effort towards a concerted flyposting project, May I suggest that we post some "wording ideas? Please bear in mind a number of factors, that in my experience ar key, in effective posting.
1/ Keep it short. A car driver needs to instantly take the whole message, not just the first two words.
2/ Make it as big as possible. 120 point (text size) is perfect at 60mph.
3/ Choose a sans serif fint. makes it easier to read. Arial is an excellent choice.
4/ Post on back of road signs. The grey background makes for an eyecatching border to a white A3.
5/ Be as covert, dont get caught, even if you know its legal.
6/ Dont tell anyone you post.
So, any suggestions about wording? here are a few....
RE-OPEN 9/11
YOUR BEING LIED TO!
9/11 INSIDE JOB!
OSAMA IS INNOCENT!
BUSH KNOWS THE TRUTH!
BLAIR KNOWS THE TRUTH!
THE WAR IS ILLEGAL!
BUSH SUCK'S, DICK CHANEY
Love and Light people. |
